グレニンバー ゲスト ハウス(Gleninver Guest House)

1950s themed guest house, spotlessly clean with a very friendly and accommodating host. Around a 15 minute walk to the city centre. We stayed in the 3 bed room, comfortably sized and came with some complementary drinks in the fridge. Would definitely recommend.

Mandy is full of attentions with her Guest and everything is comfortable and prepared with love. Bedrooms are great with original décoration and welcome drinks and breakfast on thé dinner room homebaked and so good.

Stayed at the gleninver twice in two weeks while visiting Stornoway, always a delightful experience,Mandy is such a friendly host,rooms are so comfortable and beautifuly furnished,with everything you could possibly need during your stay (even beer and champagne in the fridge). Mandy’s breakfasts are a superb way to start the day wether the full or delicious and varied continental. Would definitely recommend,can’t wait to return!

Excellent host, very friendly and helpful. Felt very much at ease and comfortable. Easy to find. Just tucked back from the road with parking. Only 3 rooms so very personal. Beds lovely and very comfortable. We had the room with the external private bathroom. The bathroom was a good size with bath & shower with toiletries provided. Robes provided in the room for your modesty so the external bathroom wasn’t an issue for us. Bathroom was served in the quirky kitchen and dining room. Plenty of choice and the host was on hand to cook a hot choice. Would definitely return.

Rooms had all we needed though a little squishy with luggage. Staff was friendly. Make sure you put the decorative throws somewhere she can see them or she will chase down your car and cut into your travel itinerary.

Mandy and Colin were fantastic hosts. Went the extra mile to ensure our stay went well. 10min walk into town so great for enyone wishing to sample a taste of Highland hospitality. Never had such a warm and friendly stay before. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the McCoo room which was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Mandy couldn't be nicer and such a great host. Her attention to detail should be commended. We had a beautifully fresh cooked breakfast along with homemade smoothy, chopped fruit and a homemade compote. I will never stay anywhere else when we visit Inverness again.

Loved our stay very friendly and welcomeing loved the diffrent styles of rooms it was one of the reasons we choose to stay here. Very clean and brilliant friendly atmosphere at breakfast which had so much to choose from will definitely be back highly recommended 😊
