Istanbul Hotel Nomade

Location was great, breakfast was excellent. Room filled with cigarette smoke from other parts of the hotel even though it was a non- smoking room. Couldn’t sleep due to the smell. Noise from outside was extremely loud. Staff seemed pleasant were not able to give advice about ferries etc. only seemed interested in selling packages.

This is a smaller, 3* hotel, near, but not on the T1 tram line in Sultanamet. It's very, very close to all the sights in the area. The full Turkish breakfast is upstairs in the roof-top terrace, with a view of the Blue Mosque. It is more affordable than most hotels in this location and the staff and service were excellent. And there's a small elevator. It hits the sweet spot of affordability, service, location and function.

The location was the greatest asset. So, a very good base to explore Istanbul. Many places to eat nearby. Very attentive and helpful staff. Complimentary bottle of water in the room, as well as slippers, shower caps etc. Relatively small rooms. Limited breakfast that started quite late (08h30) on the top floor (and roof). When your room is at the street side, you might be bothered by people in the street as there's lots of activity until late at night. Rooms have a fridge, a safe, bathroom is equipped with a hair drier. Rooms are clean, but could use a refresh.

Family owned Turkish flare hotel located within 15 minutes walk to Blue mosque, Sofia, grand bazaar, bosforus water front. Excellent breakfast, large rooms, great front desk staff. Arranged private tours and guides. Highly recommend

An interesting little hotel in the heart of Istanbul. The staff and owner ensured we were well taken care of. Hotel Nomade is such a a great find and atypical in comparison to the other boutique hotels in the vicinity. Strategically located, with easy access to everything a new visitor needs. Rooms were well designed and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to ensure my arrival and departure was well taken care of considering I had flown in from Antalya after the Ironman challenge. Thanks a ton to the team at Nomade!

Liked · Location is excellent despite being a noisy area. 2 out of 3 receptionist were phenomenal (the young ones) paying attention to details and giving all kind of advices. Disliked · Room service deficiencies: * One day they "forgot" to clean. It's only 4 ROOMS per floor. * There was a TOY UNDER THE BED from previous guests. Quality Cleaning? * Room ceiling and walls with signs of mold. Rooftop looks far from what pictures show. Dirty. *Horrible Shuttle Offers: We are a couple and i had to go back home but my husband stayed in Istanbul. They messed up BIG TIME with my transfer. They charge 75€ for a private van (Mercedes Benz) roundtrip. Our ride back to the airport was scheduled at 7 AM and this van never showed up, 55 minutes later they realized the van was not coming so they just called a taxi to take us to the airport. The driver went as fast as 115 km/h in heavy traffic through the city. When my husband, that went back to the hotel, asked the receptionist (the older one) if he considered this service as good one plus all the other details i had about the hotel, he started shouting and saying "but what do you want? Your wife didn't lose the flight", standing up from his chair and shouting if he wanted money out of him. Ridiculous. This guy just killed the hotel and the rest of the staff.

Such a beautiful hotel, the staff and owner couldn’t have been more helpful and made our stay so pleasant and welcoming . The rooms were so clean and a lovely selection for breakfast. The view from the roof top is beautiful. Highly recommend.

Stayed for 5 nights in this beautiful family style hotel in August 2021. • Location is amazing! Close to many touristic attractions like old mosque and bazars. • Tram station is less than 50m away! • Room and bed are comfy. • Staff are very friendly, shout out to Yaseen, one of the reception staff. We had some interesting conversations about places and traditions! Burhan the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. • Breakfast on rooftop was amazing, and view is beautiful! • This hotel feels more like a big house and family which I enjoyed with my wife. Definitely recommended for istanbul visits, specially old city.

Very nice small boutique hotel, literally next to all historic places, shops and restaurants at your doorstep, perfect for us after 15-20 kilometers walk all over town. The room is small but has all the convenient features and the bathroom has a nice shower with endless amount of hot water for our morning and afternoon showers before dinner. We didn’t need anything spacious for this trip as we were always outside sightseeing. Small wall mounted AC unit worked perfectly and made no noise, the bed was as equally comfortable as the Marriott’s quality. We were in a room with glass window all around so it was very sunny and nice, it can be noisy late at night but it didn’t bother us as we enjoyed the liveliness of Istanbul at night. Now breakfast is up the terrace with the view of Hagia Sophia and a resident cat named Fındık which we enjoyed her company very much. They served typical Turkish breakfast items with a few hot dishes of the day and some seasonal fruit. Hot tea and cake were available all day and the terrace is for everyone to use during the day or enjoy the evening view. There were issues with the internet and the safe but together the staff went above and beyond to resolve them with satisfaction. They smoothly arranged for airport transfers and PCR tests at the hotel. The front desk staff has a very good level of English, the manager also speak Spanish. The breakfast and cleaning staff speaks very little English but they can communicate in Turkish, French and Russian…we could understand each other with Google translate when it boiled down to details of course, I’m sure they will speak good English the future. They were all pleasant, friendly and helpful, they made us feel at home, I personally felt right at home the first moment I stepped foot in the hotel lobby. Istanbul çok güzel ☀️😎🤩🤩
