Well we've always wanted to stay here and we finally managed to score room this weekend and this place is absolutely fantastic. Everything is maintained to an extremely high order which is nice a lot of the Inns you see around these days have a lot of TLC that needs to be done this is fine here

From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a glass of bubbly and a warm welcome.All staff we met were friendly, professional and a huge shout out to Dave for making us so comfortable at Breakfast. We will definitely be returning. The room was romantic, a cozy fireplace and an amazing jetted tub.

Inn at Thorn Hill is wonderful for a nice quiet get-away with a nice hot tub (just fits two people) in the rooms and some rooms have a steam room in the shower. The common spaces are excellent with a beautiful fireplace and lounge with a piano. They also have a bar. The staff this year was primarily amazing, in the dining area and all other areas. Very attentive to your needs. One bar staff was great Kay. She was very personable. THere were two other women, I do not know their names but they were connected to the dining hall and lounge and were very nice and friendly and appeared very positive. Dave and Niklas in the Dining Hall for fabulous. The front desk staff were excellent. The bar tender this year did not appear as friendly or attentive as the rest of the staff. The food is okay. Not stellar. The truffles left in the rooms are terrible. Too sweet and way too many sugary jimmies on them. This truly needs to be upgraded to more classy truffles or chocolate. The gas smell is the halls and in your room can be annoying until you put the fire place on in your room, then it dissipates. Overall a very nice stay.

My partner and I went to Thorn Hill for an anniversary weekend and had such an incredible time. We were greeted with a glass of champagne, exceptional customer service and a beautiful and superbly clean room. Throughout the entire stay the staff was incredible and treated us so well. We had dinner at the in-house restaurant and had drinks at the in-house bar- all was wonderful. We even got tea and cookies each night delivered to our room. The spa was beautiful and there were a lot of services offered. We will absolutely be back ASAP.

The people here are so nice. From check-in to housekeeping to the tavern/restaurant, everyone makes you feel so welcome. The nightly tea service is such a nice touch and we look forward to it on every visit. The rooms are beautiful and cozy. Breakfast was SO good. We also got amazing drinks and dessert at the tavern one night. It was such a relaxing getaway. We can’t wait to go back!

This was a delightful place. The staff are super friendly, the restaurant was romantic and delicious. We stayed at one of the cottages for our anniversary, and it was so peaceful and pleasant. The mattress was a little too soft for our liking, but that’s just our personal taste. Loved our stay, will be coming back in the spring.

The Inn at Thorn Hill was recommended by a friend whose daughter was getting married just over the border in Maine. My first impression was that of a lovely, peaceful and warm oasis during a cold January winter. Our room was spacious and comfortable, decorated beautifully with easy access to the elevator and stairs. The bathroom was beautiful and included a great hot tub with room for two! It was sparkling clean and the towels were soft and luxurious. We ate dinner in the dining room, starting with drinks from the bar. Our food was delicious and our server, Nicole, was extremely friendly and always checking on us making sure we had everything we wanted. I will gladly recommend The Inn at Thorn Hill to our friends, and I can’t wait to stay there again.

It was just wonderful and we were supposed to stay 2 nights but only stayed 1 because of a winter storm warning. We glad that you and the hotel refunded the 2nd night. We are looking forward to going again in the near future.

Great stay with a nice parlor/bar area to sit by the fire and relax in the winter season. The tea and cookie service in the evening was an added bonus. Would stay again.
