ラ ペルリータ(La Perlita)

Horrible. This place was distasterous. No english speaking staff. Rude, no towels, no soap, no service. Do not stay at this place. The staff are rude and only speak french. There are several other places near this one that are way better. We left this place after one night even though we paid for a week. No refund, only attitude.

The owners are disrespectful to their customers and the hotel is dirty and unorganized. We arrived 1 hour early for our reservation and they said we couldn't leave our bags in the hotel. They didn't even let us onto the property. We waited outside for over an hour. Then when we got inside we found out that our room was ready the whole time. We had made a 1 week reservation and left after the first night because the our room was filthy, there were bugs everywhere and the pool was empty due to "cleaning". We ended up staying at a nicer hotel down the street but lost our deposit at La Perlita. I think the owners are too old to run a hotel and that is why they are selling it. Don't stay at this place and don't take your children there; it's not family friendly.

A simple, clean, big room with good kitchen amenities. Owner was very nice. Her english is basic but functional. No issues at all. Would consider staying her again with a reasonable price.

This place is not a hotel. It's a run down apartment complex with bars and security fencing all over the place. Do not bring children to this place. There is rusty metal and glass on the floor around the property. The owners don't speak a word of english. If you do decide to give this place a try, only stay for 1 night. There are better options nearby.

Very convenient, stores and food breakfast available at the las perlitas.

My friend and I stayed at La Perlita and couldn’t be happier. The room was excellent, the environment was great, the breakfast each morning was delicious. It is a very short walk to the main road where all the shops are, and then to the beach. Scarlett Macaws populate the trees next door and the pool area is a great escape for some peace. The owners are the nicest people and did everything they could to make our stay better. They gave great recommendations and were incredibly hospitable. The owners do speak Spanish and French so it is helpful to be proficient in one of those languages, but they do their best with English speakers as well!

Close to the Main Street and beach.

To many rules . The accommodation was a overpriced portocabin . We were asked to turn our music down while sitting relaxing at 7 pm . We are very respectful to other people , this was ridiculous . There where no windows just netting surrounded by lots of trees as a result we were bitten to bits .

I have stayed at La Perlita on several occasions. Clean, comfortable and close enough to all the activities in the area. The owners are great people, very friendly and helpful.
