"This is a beautiful hotel. What makes this place exceptional was the staff, Angie Lily & Julio. We never wanted for anything. Mike, the owner, went out of his way to make sure our every need was taken care of from providing us wonderful suppers to personally shopping for specific meals like excellent rib eye steaks. He even drove us to places several times."

"This is a small rustic hotel right on the beach at the north end of Jaco. It could definitely use some updating but we were here for some peace and quiet and that's what we found. The rooms are simple but very clean. The pool is spotless and has beautiful gardens surrounding that provide good shade. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We opted to have breakfast each day and were very happy with the options and quality of food. The coffee was delicious. There are a few restaurants within easy walking distance. We especially enjoyed Soda Raquel. The walk into town is about 15 minutes."

"To be honest I have been there since the beginng R2Bs is an experience to say the least The main staff Fanco, Noel and wonderful women who run the bar ( including the two sisters who can out cook every chef in New York) always make this place unlike any Hostel in the world! Especially when it is being run by a guy who had zero experience running hotels, hostels or restaurants this place is incredible!! Brian!!!! If you look at him you would never guess he would even want to run a place like this. But he does it with such flair that I can travel around the world never experience a hostel such as R2B!!!"
