ヴィナヤック デザート キャンプ(Vinayak Desert Camp)

What an amazing place, staff are so friendly and helpful. Comfortable tent with everything you need. Clean and comfortable. We went half board and when I explained I cannot eat too much spice, they prepared a really lovely non spicy version. Evening show enjoyable. Jeep and camel safari so much fun you really must do, also go on quad bike, we went with 13 year old boy who was so skilled at driving. So sad to leave here. We had the best time thank you all

Terrible experience. Have booked a lot of hotels in advance but have never felt so cheated. We were shocked to see that there was no one at the camp when we arrived. We then called the number that was provided while booking and then a person took us to a camp that was a couple of kms away from Vinayak Desert camp. This camp looked so deserted. We even thought of going to Jaisalmer and staying at a hotel. The tent was in no way similar to the photos that were shared during booking. We had booked a Swiss Tent, but the one that was provided felt like it might fly away anytime. There was no Air-Cooler and geyser in the room. After much effort we were give a new room that had no geyser but had a newly installed Air-Cooler that was not working, but the tent didn’t seem like it would fly. We thought that there was no point in arguing any further and decided to settle. Later in the evening we went for dune bashing and camel ride arranged by Vinayak Desert camp. It was good. No complaints there. The dinner and breakfast provided was below average. There was no hot water and the water from the tap was freezing. In all a bitter bitter experience. Would not recommend this to anyone.

The deal spoiler at the camp was poor maintenance at the washrooms with no liquid hand soap/ the soap bar had become a sticky mess .... Food was fantastic and appeared hygienic, though served like a free food camp, with very average cutlery (depends if you want a little luxurious experience or just happy to be fed). No one to clear and clean the tables after the 1st wave of guests has eaten.... The poor quality speakers at the cultural program took the limelight away from brilliant folk singers and the amazing folk dancers. We had gone to Vinayak camp as part of dune half day trip. The jeep guy (booked through Shiva Taxi service, brilliant taxi service otherwise) took us to the camp after safari and camel ride at Sam dunes, despite telling that we wanted a luxurious experience.. Overall, some simple attention to details could have changed this into a 5* experience; NOT recommended if you are after a bit of luxury!

Very unsatisfactory experience. Tents were occupied by frogs and lizards. Cooler not working properly. My rooms was changed , but the same problem persisted. Cultural evening prog is Ok. Staffs are also good. Jeep safari and Camel safari is not very far from the hotel and one must experience it.
