オリーブ ツリー ホテル(Olive Tree Hotel)

This hotel is an excellent place to stay in Jerusalem - an easy walk to the Damascus Gate. We appreciate so many of the staff - especially Wissam. The front desk manager and Maria in the coffee lounge. Wissam was so helpful with various questions/ concerns for our group. His friendly and kind way was so appreciated.. In the lounge, Maria worked so.hard and was so pleasant as she provided wonderful service. Thank you Olive Tree!

The hotel is located in a convenient location close to the light rail and within 15 minutes of the Damascus Gate on foot. We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights and on one occasion I came back to find my door was not shut properly, I always double check that my door is locked, so can only assume the housekeeping staff didn't pull the door shut firmly enough. The hotel rooms are very dated and in desperate need to renovating as can be seem in the photos I've attached. We ate at the hotel for breakfast and dinner for the six nights we stayed at the hotel and the buffet spread was pretty good, although I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't any gluten free bread options available at breakfast. I don't know what the room rate is normally as this was booked through a tour company, but I'd be happy to stay here again despite the very poor room state if the room rate is not obscenely expensive.

The breakfast buffet gave us a good start to our days touring and the bar was good for a wind down beverage in the evenings. The hotel is walking distance from a few restaurants and is close to the Damascus Gate. The location was a convenient start to our daily touring. It could use a little updating. Overall, a good place to stay.

So it was not as nice as I thought it would be. It was clean but old looking the bed was hard and it was hot in the room. Breakfast which is free is a huge selection, food was ok. I dont think its in a easy location to get around Jerusalem without having to drive your car which is not safe to do. We got there late and stayed one night but to me it seemed to not be in a good location to get around with a bus or train.

Food was great!!!!! The room is a little small but clean and with enough space. It is located close to the holy city and to Mamilla. The lobby is big. It has a small gym room. No swimming pool in the hotel itself but it is possible to enjoy one at the hotels nearby (Leonardo or Grand-Court).

The only thing is the lack of variety at the bar menu. A guest should be able to order from the restaurant menu if he or she wants to eat at the bar area. We had to fight to get anchovies in our pizza. Indicating no flexibility even though they have them available if you order a Caesar salad

Good evening, the beginning of a wonderful and respectable hotel, but there is the receptionist who does not deserve to work in the hotel when he happened to me in the hotel by the employee, Mahmoud Al-Qaq, in an inappropriate manner, and he came to give me his name and said I am Mahmoud Al-Qaq, and I complained to whom you do not want without respect, and he raised his voice, and if he could, he would have left from behind the counter I have other details that I would like to communicate to inform you of them, with thanks Mohammed Al bqu

Great food, friendly staff, love the location and the lobby ambience feels like you are in the Old City. The rooms are currently being upgraded. I recommend you ask for a room that is already upgraded when you book.

This hotel is in dire need of a renovation. Lobby is okay, but desk staff is rude and disrespectful. Rooms are well past their prime. Small hard beds, tiny bathrooms that need updating and a good scrubbing. Carpets are dirty, dim lighting in all areas. Bath fixtures are chipped, worn, outdated & dangerous. We stayed as part of a USA group tour and we’re unimpressed by this hotel. Food was not very good, coffee machines didn’t work, just overall average at best. Our room air was frozen up & non functioning, after rude desk folks argued with us about it, my hubby had to get stern with them and it did get fixed, sort of. I would not recommend this hotel and I’m sure I’ll get the standard management reply! 🙄
