Great views of the lake. Super comfy bed, modern bathroom with a cooked breakfast to start the day, centrally located to shops and restaurants. We ate upstairs at the pub the second night. Meals were fantastic, good size tasty and fresh vegetables cooked well. Staff were friendly and helpful and plenty of pool tables. Regret going to other pub night before.

We’ve been coming to the region for years, and the LJ used to be our go-to place for accommodation, meals or drinks - both winter and summer. But no more. Seats in the booths and out on the deck are in need of replacement, or at least a good clean; as are tables / benches in the bistro. And it is no good having a designated smoking area when patrons just smoke wherever they want to – staff must actively enforce regulations the licensee has to abide by. The deck is not a designated smoking area! We were back in Jindabyne and at the LJ for 5 nights in Dec 2023. Disappointingly, one evening we were not able to get a meal. Although menus given out at the bar and the bistro state the kitchen is open until 9pm, when we tried to order at 8.05pm, we were told the kitchen had closed at 8pm. And no, we saw no other signage detailing this. Our party of five were not the only ones disappointed by this inconsistency. I know there is currently lots of renovations at the LJ, but we won’t be back in the meantime.

We’d been hiking in the mountains and needed a place to stay. It’s pretty basic but doesn’t pretend to be anything more than it is. It was clean, tidy and very comfortable. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Great spot to stay, right on the lake. Close to shops etc.

The noise from the pub was unbearable on Friday night. I was in room 19, the bass from the music gave me a headache. No one could sleep including my two kids. So disappointing for the money I paid

Very little parking. Beds were comfortable. For the price I would have expected they could have actually made up the beds rather than placed sheets on them. no linen change except for a clean bathmat.

Cold. Airconditioning loud and hard to operate. Pillows uncomfortable. Bathroom no heating and louvred windows. Noisy. Food overpriced. Wait Staff indifferent. Chef rude and inflexible. I would only stay here as a last resort. Would not recommend.
