The view was great ! The staff was awesome ! Room could use some upgrading but it was nice . The screen didn’t lock

I went here with my family in December 2023. It met all of our needs and was centrally located. There was parking for my rental car and I could walk anywhere downtown, which was great. The staff at the front desk were friendly. I felt welcome and comfortable the entire time.

This was our second stay at Kona Reef. Both times were perfect for our trip to Kona. Very cloe walk into Kona centre, lovely sea side pool amazing wave sountrack.

The location and room view is great! The kitchen makes family travel much more enjoyable and stress free.

The view from the balcony was amazing. Especially during sunset. Outdoor parking space is very tight. But, you can park in the garage if you want. The front desk guys were very nice. There were adequate towels and toiletries for our 4 nights stay. Overall it was a great place to enjoy the sea view.

SURPRISE SURPRISE. when checking in, they shoved in front of new papers with new conditions to sign which included new surprises charges. BAD PRACTICE.

It was nice, close to almost everything you would need, but if you wanted or needed to contact the office… good luck. There hours are posted 9:00am-5pm, I stopped there many times during those hours to find no one there with the closed sign up

Overall it was such a nice place. We reserved it when ******* had it at a discount and it was cheaper than all the other resorts near by but with a kitchen! It's in a great location, about a 10 minute walk to the shops in Kailua-kona, has a beautiful ocean front area for a picnic or just relaxing. One major thing to note is that *******s check in instructions for the property are not correct. It caused a major headache for us. Search for their number on Google, the one provided by ******* is incorrect and will ring endlessly.

We had a late checkin and Vanessa in the office helped insure we were able to arrive with no issues. Unfortunately, we paid a decent extra amount for a condo in order to have our unit cleaned after our stay. However, when we arrived, we were greeted with a broken front storm door, dirty bed sheets (there was actually hairs and dirty spots on wrinkled sheets) and our feet turned black from walking barefoot on the tile floors. We also reported that the bedroom closet doors were broken/not working because we were afraid we would get charged for that damage.
