Old English deco hotel, cozy and comfortable. Kind gesture with homemade cookies and tea served in our room. Seemed to have a long history and heritage hotel. Hotel restaurant served nice fish and chips!!

It looks pretty in The photos, but I wanted to book at The Georgetown Inn in Washington, DC, and the platform showed me this B&B. The exact same name resulted in me booking the most expensive room in the hotel but getting no service and swallowing all my money.

LOVE the antique vibe and all the decorations were attention to details xo
Spacious, clean, and comfy! Surprisingly quiet despite it was built on top of the pub.
Front desk is NOT 24h available so make sure everything you needs are set before they close front desk.
I walk from downtown to get there, 25mins walking. It was nice day so I didn’t mind but recommend to drive there.

It was very nice. The first room I booked the best was too soft. I asked for another room and the beds were great! I did have to upgrade though. They were accommodating. The restaurant bar has very good food and the atmosphere is lovely if you like a English style pub. Especially nice when they have the wood fireplace burning. Always a relaxing time.

I booked this hotel menu because of the high rating but in the end it was a nightmare.
After driving in -60 for four hours, I have to deal with a room with no heat, no phone to call font desk!! I have to use my own phone to call on desk. how international traveller be able to reach the font without actually stepping down? The front desk people were super nice tho. But the infrastructure is way to suck! They gave me an external heater, a small tiny one, but it blowed the fuse in seconds. Lol no microwave. no thermal system in the room. It was freezing cold. no underground parking parking spot is super limit. The elevator was very manual. I have two actually holdon to the handle to push out the door…no blocking between moving elevator and the wall. even though there is an interesting look of it, but it’s not so user-friendly when I have a huge suitcase with me. If there is a small kid, it’s huge safety hassle.
