When checking in, the front desk tried to charge us $14 for parking although it was included with our ******* reservation (happened at our last stay too). Our room was nice and clean and the robe and crib we requested were quickly delivered to us. The pool and hot tub were nice, but it would be great if Brookstreet could offer some courtesy lifejackets and water wings like many other local hotels do - it's an easy thing to forget. We were disappointed that the children's pool area is still not available - this would be hugely beneficial for us since we have a 3-year-old and a walking 10-month-old. Kids slept in a little late which was a nice surprise, but when we requested a late checkout, we were only given 30 minutes. That was disappointing since many hotels have noon checkout and that extra hour means that you can really enjoy the amenities that you came for without being in a frenzied rush to checkout. We attempted to make the best of things. I went down to scope out the sauna, but it was closed for the week. I checked the website once we arrived home to see if I had missed that, but there was no mention of it. Overall, it was an okay stay.

Had a wonderful stay at The Brookstreet. Staff were very nice and helpful. Property was clean and beautiful. They offered a shuttle to the Canadian Tire Center for a very reasonable small fee which was completely worth it. Will for sure be staying here again for any future games we go to in Ottawa!

Unique hotel and decor. They had a nice gym. Live jazz at night for dinner. Good food and drink options. Starbucks available early morning in the lobby. Enjoy my stay everytime I come here. Best play to stay in the west end of Ottawa

Very friendly staff, quiet area, good dining with live music. Very nice rooms. There are EV Chargers in the parking garage. One was not working and staff were unable to tell me when they might be fixed or what the plan was to get repairs done. I asked several times during my 3 day stay.

Nice rooms and good restaurant options, but a few too many add-on charges such as high-speed interment, plus limited TV selections.

Brooke Street is always amazing. I wish they didn’t lie to us that the teams don’t stay there in hockey when they play the Ottawa Senators but I guess I understand we enjoyed the pool my son and I and the rooms the beds are so comfortable is a good stay as usual we have stayed there at least 10 times before

We live in ottawa. Me and my wife like to come here to go to the jazz bar, we have also stayed here a few times , plus i put my mother in a room here for Chris**as night a couple years in a row now. We find the service in Options lounge to be fantastic , we have been here on quite a few occasions and the staff has always given us 5 star service. This visit was a little different with the check in this time. My room card was deactivated on sat. for a mistake the front desk made with my check in and the deposit on my credit card. They had my cell phone number they could have just called. Anyways we found it quite rude for the circumstances as we were only going to stay 1 night but ended up staying an extra night. We really enjoy the night out at the lounge but would think longer about staying over again.

Stumbled across this hotel by accident with a late booking and was so happy I did. The service the rooms, the meal options did not disappoint. In fact far surpassed expectations would definitely book back here again.
