ザ キャンディ サマディー センター(The Kandy Samadhicentre)

Coming here off-season beginning of May had some unintentional pleasant surprises. We were visiting as a couple and had the whole establishment to ourselves. Secluded from the city, built in high elevation, protects you from the “wet heat” of Srilanka’s sometimes unbearable climate -especially for people who come from geographies with well-balanced seasons. The hotel (calling Samadhi Center a hotel is hugely understating the experience) grounds were very authentic, stylish and welcoming. Heavily built in stone and wood with a spacious layout, the room was very comfortable. You could be one with nature and feel like you are shedding life’s stress by each passing minute. Staff was extremely helpful especially with the unpleasant surprises we had with leeches during our waterfall hike. Body massage was the best I ever had with an authentic application of a steam bath. Would definitely recommend.

The Samadhi centre is a fantastic destination! The holistic nature of the resort is refreshing and calming, the scenery is beautiful, and the staff is so friendly and helpful. The food was the best the local cuisine had to offer. I highly recommend it!

It's very proud to state that SAMADHI CENTER is a unique place to spend the holidays admiring the nature.The simplicity of this center and the atmosphere proved the same.I have been visited this place on several occations and ones again I had a chance to visit and stay for two days in this nature center. we enjoyed a bath in the natural water pool which was very safety and full of fresh water. We were so happy to have delicious food provided by the hotel and fresh fruits from the garden cultivation which were so tasty. Nicely arranged the dinning hall lit with traditional oil lamps attracts everybody and it is a wonderful place to enjoy the meals. It is a fantastic experience to have a cool climate sitting on the varandhe watching the nature with huge trees, birds, small cottages on the hills. It is very nice to appreciate the hospitality of the owner Mr. Waruna Jayasinghe and the staff. We highly recommend this samadhi center to people who love nature. Thank you very much and I wish all the success in the future.

I had and opportunity to be at SAMADHI CENTER Digana(Narampanawa) with my family.It was and Amazing weekend where I really enjoyed the nature and traditional healthy food which is very delicious. The photos shared by me is very evident for anybody to realise the heritage maintain center. My family and my self enjoyed a bath in the natural water pool which is very safety.The dining hall is very nicely arranged with traditional oil lamps. Rather than describing my own experience I would like to invite everybody to visit this center which may be rare and special place in sri lanka,maintain by Mr Waruna Jayasinghe a gentleman with high standard of discipline and hospitality. I wish him all the future success.

À deux pas de Khandi, Samadhi center à été pour moi un veritable moment de relaxation. Le cadre merveilleux est idéal pour passer quelques jours aux calmes et venir se relaxer, avec ces paysages et l'accès directe à une rivière pour se rafraîchir. J'ai pu vivre des moments de partage avec le personnel, mais également le clientèle en mangeant tous autour d'une même table, dans une ambiance d'échange et de bonne humeur! Recommande fortement cet hôtel à touts les gens cherchant plus qu'un simple endroit où dormir! PS. Si vous êtes un amoureux des chiens, vous allez être aux anges!

Everything was excellent, it was like a magical fairytale. I did not expect to enjoy it like that, I found the most beautiful place with amazing people. If you are looking for treatment then this is the place where you should go, it is in the forest with very nice waterfalls and with amazing accommodations. Near the complex is also the hill with the temple where you can go for a walk. I had a body massage and it was the best massage that I had, I was also in yoga class and it was also super nice. All people who I met there were so friendly and nice that I did not believe that is possible to find a place like this. The staff did me a tour around and they showed me some hidden spots like waterfalls etc. The food was delicious and for sure in the future, I will want to come back there again and I hope that I will have the chance to see them again.

Mon partenaire et moi-même avons passé un séjour extraordinaire, la nourriture est délicieuse, le paysage est extraordinaire, le personnel est très gentil et surtout le propriétaire est très chaleureux. Je vous recommande vivement de séjourner au Samadhi Center à Kandy lorsque vous visitez le Sri Lanka, vous ne le regretterez pas !

Well, if you looking to unwind and forget the world outside, here is the ideal destination With cool climes, refreshing country air and abundant nature all around you, what more could you ask for? The number of activities are aplenty: yoga, Ayurvedic treatments, massages, or go on a challenging hike and end it with a dip in a rejuvenating natural pool of water. Or just don't do anything. Just chill. Reconnect with yourself. The woodfire-cooked food was absolutely flavoursome and the spread of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options was most impressive. The members of staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. Varuna, Yumi and Zenna are delightful hosts and are great meal-time conversationists. We had a great time. So, take my word for it: give it a try. I know we will, again.
