We discovered Magnet hotel by chance. We were looking for a stopover on our way from Palakkad to Kasargode and back in Kerala. Besides, we had a few temple visits on our minds too. Google threw up a few options but we weren't sure of the quality of the property. We were driving by one evening and we stopped to look at something that attracted us - the well-lit logo of Magnet hotel and the way it was laid out with a nice drive way that ended in a nice looking property. Akshay at the front office was a delight to meet. He is an asset for the hotel. Very professional and courteous. He gave us all the details we needed and arranged for us to view the rooms. Since this is a fairly new hotel, the rooms are clean, well designed, offer all the facilities you need and is well maintained. The black and white entangle-like art on the walls add beauty to the decor. Nandu, the young boy who helped us with the check in and check out was very kind and courteous. The restaurant offers a delicious breakfast buffet with some nice Kerala dishes that are worth indulging in. Akhil, Atul and Abhil were very welcoming, professional and indulged all our requests. They are young boys with a lot of potential and we wish them the best in their career in the hospitality industry. We stayed there a second time because our first experience was very good.

This Hotel has a super friendly reception desk. The charming ladies are unusually helpful and very attentive. We appreciated that a lot. Another strong point in favor of the Hotel is the nice garden. You can enjoy a cool Kingfisher beer there, but unfortunately not everyday. On certain days they are not allowed to serve alcohol. There is a restaurant inside, but we found it more enjoyable to eat outdoors. Service is quick and the food we had was ok but nothing special. Our room was clean and big enough. Since the Hotel has been refurbished recently, everything was in excellent condition - we particularly liked the well kept woodwork. We will keep a fond memory of the Surya Heritage Hotel and it’s friendly personnel.

Hoe l ambiance is good and fresh. Underground parking. Very near to kannur centre and ksrtc bus stand. Staff response is good. Neat rooms & toilet facility is also good. Hot water available. Size of the room is enough. No restaurant with this property. Overall good for family stay.

Kannur has always been close to my heart for multiple reasons... people, nature, proximity to everything and now good stay... Recently stayed at Royal Omars on station road for 5 days... the location, the quality of the room and the service was very good... it did not have to buzz of a rushed place... a pretty good breakfast... clean rooms... efficient service....

We had an overnight stay at benale, the check in was quick as we had made an booking, helped ourselves with the luggage to the room. The room we stayed in was an ok one, however running hot water at around 11pm helped us relax after the kind of travel we've had. Beds are cosy, aircon & fan ran as expected. Okiesh bathroom with towels and some toiletries. The door nobs are a bit tricky at times. We opted for breakfast which had a decent spread of food both english & local dishes. The front desk person was helpful during check out process too making it a hassle-free one. Since this property is in the town area it's easier to just step out and visit places. Overall a good experience!

Good for a business travel based on my two days stay there. The property is very close to the railway station and the main business area. Being at the middle of core business, a family trip expecting some luxurious stay may not find it interesting. The road leading to the hotel is a bit narrow. If one is driving, then should be experienced to navigate the rush. Once at hotel, parking is very good. Rooms near and clean, breakfast buffet is reasonable. The restaurant attached to hotel was not functional during my stay in Oct 2023.

All over cleaning is not enough. We could see cockroaches in bed room and restaurant. Lack of toiletries. Bed room interior design is pleasing. Location is good.

Best North indian and continental food in kannur. Chef Rohit is a master of his craft. The service is very good. And the expansive sea views adds a charming aesthetic to the place. Being situated on the cliff, there is a constant sea breeze in tbe evenings which makes outdoor dining a very pleasant experience. Highly recommended!

Very well run hotel in central Thalassery, set back from Logans Road on a quiet courtyard. Modern and clean rooms with TV and nice bathrooms. Their Executive Suit rooms are very specious and I would recommend to go for it if budget will suit. The hotel also has a small restaurant serving South Indian meals. I found their breakfast menu as okay but I won't recommend for lunch or dinner because of very limited options. Instead one can find many options just few minutes walk like famous Rara Avis Restaurant, La Affair Restaurant, KFC etc
