Excellent pool. Clean beach. Excellent menu buy if you have preferences and ingredients are available the restaurant would make a la carte meals.

Very scenic location. Rooms were good. Bathroom spacious No jet spray in toilet. Water in basin and bath was salty. No elevator so not suitable for guest having physical challenges Restaurants was expensive Pool bit so clean Overall ok ok but good beach access

My friend and I came here to relax, dive and celebrate my birthday. The entire stay made it an exceptional experience and the staff (Robert and Joel) were friendly, efficient and very welcoming. A compliment to the chef, as his lunch and dinner menus were excellent throughout the week. The receptionist Geriath (we hope that we spelled it correctly) was beyond what words can explain. Very kind, service minded and simply pleasant charisma. The owner of the hotel was delightful and very accommodating and thoughtful to our needs, especially on our departure day. We enjoyed the massage very much as they were good and friendly as well. The small hotel was charming and very stylish with African vibes and decor. All in all, a wonderfull experience and place. The hotel is very quiet, clean and charming; its structure suits perfectly the nature around it. The view is wonderful, with the white, soft sand lying just in front of you. The hotel offers also free activities such as yoga three times a week. Even bycicles are available in front of the reception. The quality of the toilet products is excellent and the food is very tasty. All the staff, expecially the receptionists and the barmen, are extremely professional and friendly. Really great place to relax and chill, and listen to the sound of the ocean. We spent 5 nights here and enjoyed it a lot. The food was really great, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks a lot too all, including Ania, Maciek and Lukasz.

The hotel was just perfect!! The beach bungalows are beautiful, comfortable and very clean. The food in the restaurant was extremly tasty and the stuff was so nice especialy the owner :) The swimming pool is nice and quiet and the beach is one step from there. The zanzibar magic boutique hotel is highly recommended!! We enjoyed very much from everything!!

I'm a bit ambivalent about writing this review as the hotel had its ups and downs. The good things first... a very nice beach front area with the garden, swimming pool, deck chairs, and the bar/restaurant. The staff were very courteous and helpful throughout. There were kayaks and bicycles to borrow, which I recommend doing. But then the biggest letdown were the rooms. The website boasts comfortable 35 m2 rooms. In reality they are pretty cramped and, if you stay on the ground floor, very dark. They are nowhere near the advertised 35 m2 unless you factor in the bathroom and the veranda in the equation. Then the food... we only had a few meals here as we were on B&B but it was hit or miss. The seafood was very good, but then we had a couple of different chicken dishes that were below average. There's really no reason to go for a full board plan as there are numerous lodges and local shacks within walking distance that offer excellent dining options. All in all the hotel was not bad to stay at, but we got the impression that the "boutique" part of the name was slapped on for being able to charge higher rates than are motivated by what is on offer.

We had diner at Magic 1 time during our vacation. The restaurant is really close to the beach so it can be windy. In our case they lowered the screens which was perfect. They have a limited menu but what they have is good.

Great stay, amazing staff, beautiful views! Can’t wait to go back!
