Great hotel, delicious food, everyone was very polite. Different pool-areas with cocktailbar. Mini-Club for the kids with a lot of activities. Animator called Stan(islav) was very funny, and our son had a lot of fun playing with him. I would recommend this hotel for families.

To start with we unfortunately had a 4 hour flight delay so arrived in the early hours of the morning - check in was seamless and we were taken to the restaurant to get some food, a lovely welcome. Actually the reception staff were brilliant, always happy to answer questions and dealt with a couple of room issues (shower flooding being one) very quickly. Same goes for all staff at the hotel, always smiling, always happy to chat - special mention to the swim up bar lady with all our different drink requests! We booked a premium sea view room, the highest quality of room we could book. The views were good and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the world go by. We were 2 adults and a child and for 3 the room is very small, not much space to walk around. The shower is a very strange setup with no door so everytime someone showers it completely soaks the bathroom, the tiny foot towel was not suffice for the amount of water we had to mop up after every shower! The entertainment team were fantastic, our son loved the kids club and couldn't wait to go everyday. Emma, Beth, Vicky, Emmi and all the team made him feel so welcome, the mini disco every night was a highlight. However we were not keen on the location of the evening entertainment, normally we are used to having a table by the bar and enjoying drinks and socialising whilst the mini club is going on and then waiting for the evening entertainment. This was disappointing being in an ampitheatre not near the bar and only allowing plastic cups in. Then after the mini disco there is 45 mins to an hour break of nothing before the evening entertainment comes on - all very disjointed and we were not alone in these views. The pools are great, we especially liked the swim up pool. No problem getting sunloungers even in school holidays. It would have been nice if some entertainment was at the swim up pool occasionally or the kids pool. Now I come to the food, we love our food and really focus on finding hotels with good quality food. We do our research and also check all reviews so this was one of the main reasons for booking this hotel. The first couple of days were ok but then the standard dropped, I'm not sure if chefs changed but the choice was much more limited. We do not eat meat and it was difficult to find things to eat some evenings. Our son ate pasta for 9 days straight, it's a shame there wasn't a kids section was plainer food. As an example on themed evenings the food did not match these themes! Indian night there was no curry/naan/samoas. Asian night there was no noodles/spring rolls etc. We tried Isla one night which was nice for a change but we had to pay for drinks even on All Inclusive. Overall we enjoyed our holiday and we appreciate the hard work that goes into running a hotel of this size, thank you.

This hotel is truly amazing, the setting is perfect close to the village, harbour and beach. My husband and I took our 10 year old granddaughter and what a fantastic time we all had thanks to all the wonderful, friendly staff that work so hard. A special mention to Marianthi, who booked us in the gorgeous Isla restaurant, also to Dimitra from the hotel restaurant who kindly organised a lovely stifado dish, many compliments to Manos Soultatos the chef the food is top class. Our room had a great sea view, it was cleaned everyday, the entertainment was very good and my granddaughter loved the slides at the pool. There are no negatives about this hotel so we will be back. Thank you so much for our great holiday.

Welcomed with a lovely buffet on late arrivals. Room basic and clean. Mouse or rat poo on terrace I asked to be cleaned but not done. Pools lovely, kept clean & tidy we used all 4. Pool bar good. Pool bar snacks - poor. Slushies you have to pay extra which is a bit rubbish for an all inclusive. Cava/ Prosecco all extra too. Good range of cocktails and cocktails. Self service soft drinks, beer wine etc The food was ok.. and very much just ok. You’re also over a flight path which I really didn’t like. Staff friendly.

We had some great time in general. Our kids were crazy happy about the hotel and time in Greece and this is the very important to us. We did make many good memories and we hope to visit Greece again. The food was great, rooms were clean. The downside of the our vacation was when we went to Isla restaurant. It wasn't buffet and the service was really poor. Had to ask multiple times for drinks and ketchup. My tip is just stay at main restaurant and enjoy your vacation.

I have just returned from a magnificent stay at the Marina Beach hotel. The staff (with the exception of the lobby bar staff who I found to be unfriendly) and lovely, helpful, friendly. We felt like we hit the jackpot with our room (1214); we had paid a little more to stay in a low rise building but we also unexpectedly got a huge terrace, complete with furniture and a sea view, it was just beautiful! We arrived at 22.45 on a Saturday night and as dinner had ended a small buffet was prepared for us which i found to be excellent customer service. The food in general is very good, lots of choice and tasty food. I found the layout of the food to be a little overwhelming but we enjoyed our meals. The poolside snack bar is excellent for the children and very clean. The pools are absolutely beautiful and given there are 4, they are never too overcrowded. Due to the well thought out layouts of these pools it is very easy to keep a close eye on your children whilst relaxing yourself. We hired a car from the desk in the hotel which was fantastic; good value, well organized and well priced (we got a convertible for a bit of a treat but prices start at €45). The entertainment is very good; it is true that it is intended mainly for French speakers but everything is also translated into English. There are lots of small details in this hotel that just make for a really comfortable/ pleasant stay such as multiple games/play areas for children, a well stocked shop, onsite doctor, beach towels, extensive cocktail menu, kids cocktails, plenty of outdoor seating in the dining room. I have never been back to the same hotel twice but i think it is likely I will come back here. My only recommendation would be to have like an "induction" pack in the room or an app explaining what is going on in the hotel as we were still finding some things out on our last day but that is a very minor thing. The holiday was amazing, thank you Marina Beach for helping my family to make lifelong memories!

This holiday exceeded expectations, we had a brilliant week and didn't want to leave. The hotel is so clean and the beds are the comfiest I've ever slept in on holiday! The hotel is in a great location just across the road from the beach, with 2 pools plus kids pool with slides. You will will never go hungry here, lovely food on offer all day, Something for all tastes. The animation team topped the holiday off, kept both children and adults entertained the whole time. We all loved Nicole, Ella and George (Catastrohe) great kids club in the day and disco and entrainment in the evening. They made us all feel so welcome and would stay and chat even after their shift was over. Thank you all for a brilliant stay 😃

A well organised and efficient hotel that was clean, modern and well appointed. Bedrooms were compact but comfortable. Communal areas scrupulously clean. Food was creative -!on a budget - if a little predictable! Nice to have beach opposite and never a problem with places to lie back and relax. Staff were helpful to every query. They helped us get a bus to Heraklion and Knossos Palace. Wandered around resort but felt this was certainly the best. Well done team!

Just back from 10 days at this hotel via Jet2. It was great, we had a brilliant time for our first family holiday (2 adults and 1x 4 year old). We had a superior room with garden view, it wasn’t a view over the garden we had but rather over the pool and pool bar however was much better than the garden areas as our balcony got the sun right until evening. Great size of room, with a double bed and two single beds set up. Large wardrobes and plenty storage space, air con worked well, bigger balcony than others etc. Very clean room and resort in general. The resort was much bigger than I was expecting with loads of on site facilities and activities to keep us busy. Children’s pool is fantastic and great fun. The entertainment staff were fantastic on evenings with a mini disco every night that our son absolutely loved. The fire show is a must see, fantastic! 20 min walk along the beach to the Dino park and aquarium (both recommended!) Food was good and better than I expected from reading the previous reviews before I came. The restaurant has themes every night (eg Indian, Mexican, cretian etc). There’s always pizza and pasta available and enough for fussy kids too. The snack bar was good too throughout the day. Lastly, the staff are absolutely fantastic and can’t do enough for you. Our son was made to feel so special too with most staff making an effort with him too as well as ourselves and the kids entertainment staff were amazing. We would definitely return to this hotel and can’t recommend it enough!
