There is no A/C, so with windows open, you can hear your neighbors. Also, as another reviewer noted, there is a shared door with the nextdoor unit that has a large gap, so even more sound-sharing with neighbors. Most were quiet by ~8pm, but still not the most relaxing experience to hear kids screaming, loud talking, coughing, etc. Our room was a bit stuffy the first night. The bed, while nice & firm, caused me to sleep quite hot (though that's a common experience for me, and not unique to this place). Lovely grounds and location, and friendly and helpful staff, though.

The rooms need maintenance. Our AC was leaking throughout our stay and stuck at a fixed temperature. The staff is scarce and no one really came to our room upon calling several times during our stay.

Upon arrival at the airport in Lihue, I got a voicemail from the property. They had overbooked and cancelled our reservation….while we were on the plane to Hawaii. They gave us a number for ******* and told us to call and deal with them. We spent an hour on the phone standing in baggage claim just trying to find a place to stay. We booked this vacation 6+ months ago and had been in contact with the property many times in the two weeks prior to our trip. I’m still in absolute shock that they did this.

The room was initially clean when we checked in. But, my wife noticed a lot of ants had invaded the kitchen area the first night. There is no cleaning staff - per the front desk (upon check in, i was informed of this). The room is very spacious the bedrooms are big and clean, as well as the bathrooms. The kitchen is fully stocked with plates, utensils, and cooking supplies. There's even an ice maker within the freezer. That was sweet. We received a notice the 2nd day about the ants. The Hotel's plan of action about the issue was going to take place way after we were scheduled to leave. So, what benefit did that do for us? I think we should be given a discount or something to reimburse for the inconvenience of insects and no cleaning staff.

It was terrible. Wyndham served us cockroaches and ants for two days. I had to contact them several times before they did a cleaning service. People were rude and the entire experience was bad. They also told me I would get a refund for a couple of days. I never received it.

Room we had was more than big enough for the both of us. Since there is no air conditioning you can hear your next door neighbors when they talk loudly, especially if they are drunk. Resort pool was nice and big. Only problem was there was no one to monitor kids running around and jumping into the pool. Worse yet was their parents encouraging them.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. We will definitely will be back. The property was nice and clean, the rooms are comfortable. Overall, we have no complaint.

Everything was great went for walks every day and enjoy the nature and cleanliness the ocean was amazing and green and friendly people I love this area is great.
