ザ ファーン サマリ リゾート(The Fern Samali Resort)

The Fern Samali has situated at beat place on hill surrounded by trees. Even hotel has planted different types of tree and flower plants in area which makes entire area more pleasant. I guess you can visit here anytime. Though the summer is hot, the environment here being trees planted here makes little pleasant. I must say rainy season will give different vibe here. Staff here is kind and helpful. Services they provide with wide smile. Hotel also arranges various activity. Mango tree plantation tour, drawing for kids and one of the best was nature trail which is early in d morning where pooja takes you to in the back trees jungle where you can spot various birds. She has good knowledge of birds. She was sweet, helpful n always smiling and welcoming. She also guided us on places near hotel to visit. Even Kishore from restaurant was very caring n helpful. Overall it was such a great experience that we will definitely visit again.

The experience was fabulous. We met pooja at the reception and she was so helpful. She explained us room configuration and then suggested and upgraded us to Tulip room. Thank you Pooja. The room was ausome with a super open view without any obstruction. The swimming pool was very clean. Enjoyed a lot. Restuarant and food was very nice. The treatment given by the staff makes you feel good. I suggest please take a stay for atleast 3 nights. Thank you Fern. Nice experience.

Excellent resort in terms of service, food ( lots of choices in Indian, Western, and local cuisine), ambience and accommodation choices. It's a pet friendly resort where pets are also welcomed very nicely. Must enjoy the pool, nature walk, children's play area, and ambience around the resort. Very special mention of and thanks to reception staff Mr Puneet, Ms Pooja, Aafiya, Riya; hotel staff Mr Bhootnath, Mr Bibek, Mr Kiran, Shreyas, Abubakar, Ms Pratiksha, Ms Muskaan for making our stay so comfortable and lovely. Also thanks to Mr Vankar the security staff for his courtesy. Definitely a resort that is worth visiting many times over.

Visited Dapoli in the hot month of May, but had an amazing experience at the Fern resort.. Mrs. Puja Gurav was very helpful and showed us through the entire property - the forest trail, Mango orchard and also explained us everything in detail. We loved the overall experience..

Resort is very good. We had gone on a nature trail with Pooja Gurav and saw Rofous tree pie, golden oriole, magpie robin. They could have added bird nest in the resort to enrich the experience. Their mango orchard is also good. They have a wide variety of mangoes. Restaurant is good. Kiran helped us with vegan options in the menu.

I had a short 2 nights stay at Fern Samali Resort. The primary objective for our selection was the fact that it was a "Pet Friendly" resort. We booked through an aggregator app and received communications from Resort even before our arrival date which was good. The location and landscaping of resort is one of its highlights. The views were fantastic. We had taken accommodation in Lillian Cottages, which had a some surprises like open washroom. Staff was friendly and well behaved. Now coming to areas where our experience could have been better. - The room was not checked properly before we checked in. The AC of the room was not working. The electric kettle was non functional. Although they fixed both of the issue promptly , I expected that these things should have been checked beforehand. With the tariff that they are asking, this expectation was not out of ordinary. - Wifi did not work throughout our stay. They tried fixing but without success. Our Vodafone sim did not have much data coverage, so we were pretty much dependent on one Jio sim that we had. - The biggest disappointment was the "Pet Friendliness" of the resort. They had a rule of pets not being allowed in the restaurant. Which was a bummer. If you choose a Pet Friendly resort, you expect the resort makes provisions to allow pets in all the common areas. It did not make any sense for not allowing the pets inside restaurant and call themselves "pet Friendly". As a family of 3, we had to take turns to have dinner and breakfast, as one of us had to stay back at the room with the pet. It killed our enthusiasm of having a family outing. We could not have one single meal together.

Totally average hotel with terrible beds The beds need urgent and immediate replacement! the double bed is made of 2 adjoining single beds and the mattresses have completely lot their strength and shape. When you lie down or even sit on the bed, the mattress completely twists in one direction as if you're falling in a ditch! it's unbelievable and "unsleepable". We were in the Lillian Cottage (room category) - The rooms are dated - Wifi is sketchy in the room - The ac kept switching off on its own and is super noisy - TV remote / cable connection not working - the engineer visited 3-4 times to fix but couldn't find a solution - Restaurant is large with an extensive buffet. Food quality was average. The staff - reception, HK,and restaurant - is well trained and tries their best to support in every way possible. The grounds are well maintained and the hotel has nice vistas all around. Overall, the hotel needs a complete overhaul from looking old and worn.

Good stay rooms clean and hygenic food preparation very good ,TRINA AND KIRAN GAVE VERY GOOD SERVICE IN RESTAURANT VERY POLITE AND ATTENTIVE, overall very good experience Only drawback resturant is not AIRCONDIONED IT IS VERY HOT IN SUMMER CHEF MANOJ ALSO CAME TO TAKE FOOD REVIEWS FOOD PREPARATION IS VERY GOOD NO NEED TO EAT AT LOCAL HOTELS

We had a great experience at The Fern Samali. Check in was fast and smooth. Aster rooms have good forest/mountain view. The staff was very co-operative and responsive. Special mention to Pooja at the reception for taking us through the nature trail (very informative and exciting tour as we could spot different birds in beautiful colors and have some mangoes directly from the trees) and suggesting us dolphin safari point. Restaurant staff was also helpful. Shout out to Tanvi, Mohan, Sanjita, and chef Manoj's team. Screening of Kids' movie and nature movie was a good addition. Few suggestions: 1. Kids' play area needs major upgrade - air hockey was not working. There is scope to add more games and activities for kids. Also, the play area should have been airconditioned as during summers humidity is high and the area feels very warm making it uncomfortable for kids. 2. Restaurant location is good but again, no air conditioning makes it extremely unpleasant to dine in during afternoons and nights. Management should consider to install ACs here and there can always be the option to open the windows or doors when the weather is pleasant. Overall, a great resort to enjoy hills and secluded beaches. Property is well maintained, neat and clean. Awesome experience of dolphin safari at Murud beach.
