What can we say! Perfect place to stay! Very welcoming lovely little place and very clean tidy and great location to stay in Keswick! Will definitely be recommending Glendale B&B to my family and friends! Very reasonable and fab breakfast too! Clare stayed in touch we us throughout our booking! Very pleasant short 2-night stay over the New Year. Booked this guest house based on the reviews on here. We had a bit of spare time before checking in so knocked on the door to ask about parking. We were given our keys early and advice about parking, as it happens, we parked right outside in the street for free parking. The room was a good size for what we needed, which was only somewhere to kip as we knew we would be out walking all day. The big high bed was super comfy, Wi-Fi in the room was very strong at no extra charge, usual tea/coffee facilities provided with a bottle of water and biscuits. On the side in the room was a breakfast menu which required populating for the next morning's order. There was a good choice from your full English to simple food like egg on toast. We both opted for the full English. Breakfast time and the food was excellent, the produce was top quality and all cooked to my liking, bacon slightly crispy, it arrived piping hot with a good pot of coffee. I don't normal have two breakfasts on the trot, but I ordered the same again for the next day and again it was excellent. Would definitely return, and we plan to.

Conveniently located close to the centre whilst being on a quiet street to ensure a good night's sleep in the very comfortable bed. Fabulous place to stay in Keswick. Very clean and well appointed rooms. Top breakfast that kept us going on a full days walk. We'll be back next time we need to recharge our batteries!

From the minute we pulled up to the minute we left, couldn't fault a single thing. Lovely welcome on arrival, showed to a fantastic room and breakfast arrangements explained. Room was more than adequate with a really comfortable bed, good shower and tea/coffee facilities at hand,and breakfast was amazing, with really good selection and quality produce. Host couldnt do enough for you, even when he was flying solo on this particular weekend. Great location and close to town but just far enough out not to get any noise( 2- 3 mins walk). Managed to get a parking space in the street opposite, so car never moved all weekend. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again when next up there. Thanks for a great stay Noel & Lisa (Room 3)

Just returned from our stay at Glendale Guest House, it was a fantastic stay and had everything we needed. It was located within a 2 minute walk into town and had great hosts. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfy and the bedding was excellent quality. The breakfast was beautiful with quality produce. I would highly recommend this Guest house.

The setting was lovely with a small well-kept garden. There was a security bell in place. Claire and Barry were very welcoming and friendly. The room was pleasing, comfy and well equipped for a B and B. Barry was particularly helpful in recommending a good nearby restaurant and very chatty. We had a restful night and a fantastic breakfast. The breakfast room was light and airy with a fair selection on offer. Claire and Barry were very accommodating. I would certainly recommend them for a lovely stay in Keswick. Thank you kindly both for looking after us so well.
