I have just come back from staying for 3 nights at the Cambana La Reviere Hotel. The hotel is located in a lovely quiet back street on the East side of the river. The location was perfect, an easy quick 10 minute walk across the river to the middle of town. On first impressions it was beautiful, quiet and welcoming. It is not a huge hotel, but it has everything I needed for a relaxing mini break away. All the staff and management were extremely helpful, friendly and professional. Any requests/questions were never a problem. The manager even organized a last minute tour in the middle of Khmer New Year, which was extremely appreciated. I stayed in a Cambana Royal suite with balcony overlooking the inviting swimming pool. The room was huge. with a lovely big bathroom with shower and bath. The double bed was big and comfortable. The room rate also included breakfast. The restaurant has a small menu with a mixture of western and Khmer cuisine. Everything I ate was great. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

Cambana La Riviera Hotel (sister hotel of Cambana Siem Reap) is a boutique hotel ( less than 20 rooms) located on a quiet street around a 20-minute walk ($1 tuk tuk ride) into the center of town. There are a few restaurants nearby. Complimentary pick up and drop off from the bus station is provided upon advance notification. Upon check-in a welcome drink and a cold towel were served. The rooms are a good size with a functional air-conditioner, a safe, ample outlets and a master switch near the bed. Don't expect a luxurious stay but a comfortable one. Bottle water was provided, and the free internet was decent but wasn't always reliable. The bathroom was clean with amenities and a separate bathtub. The hot water could have been hotter as it was only lukewarm. The breakfast was a la carte with a selection of Western, Asian or Khmer selections. All come with a basket of bread, a plate of fruit, a glass of juice (not fresh) and either coffee or tea. Like their sister hotel in Siem Reap, you can opt for breakfast in the pool which had higher quality food and definitely a worthwhile experience. Avoid the pancakes as they were hard and rubbery, and the jam provided was processed. The extremely helpful staff is really what makes this hotel special. They were friendly and always tried to make your stay as comfortable as possible. All in all, a comfortable stay but please have realistic expectations. In other Asian countries, this would be at best a 3 * Hotel. It is expensive for what you get but a lot of Cambodian hotels are like this. Well worth the stay because of the friendly and dedicated staff.

I was lucky to get upgraded to a room upstairs in the same building as the reception at this hotel. After initially seeing one of the rooms downstairs which is next to the pool and smelt a bit musty, I was glad to be offered this other option. Very quiet hotel due to location on east side of the river in residential area and away from the bars on the main road. Close enough to walk to the old part of town on the west side. There are some good restaurants and an art gallery/cafe close to the hotel, as well as some nearby peaceful wats to wander around. The room was very large and clean, and everything worked well. Very comfortable mattress. The staff were professional and checked in regularly to make sure I was enjoying my stay. Breakfast is offered in the restaurant with several options and was good.

We would like to thank the staff for their warm welcome (cold drink and cold towel). We booked the hot tub room for 1 night and straight after our arrival, the staff brought us generous welcome gift. The place is nice, clean and the room was comfortable. The hot tub is more like a big bath, still very enjoyable! The pool is nice. The breakfast was fine but nothing special.

One of the recommended hotel in Battambang where surrounded by many restaurants and also walking distance to riverside. It is really good to get up early morning and jogging and also running a long the river with fresh and clean air around them. Staffs are all friendly, room really clean and everything is working very well.
