Seawinds Bed and Breakfast

I spent a lot of time staying at Seawinds B&B for work last year and my experience there was wonderful. The rooms are extremely clean, the guest kitchen was invaluable, breakfasts were brilliant and Patricia and Gerry are genuinely lovely people and wonderful hosts, happy to help with anything. The balcony during the summer time is a great spot for sunning with a good book and a cold drink. Killybegs itself is a lovely place year-round. You can watch the boats at work, seals in the harbour, get a coffee from Mrs B's coffee house or visit the nearby stunning Fintra beach and the Slieve League cliffs. Next door to Seawinds is Melly's, who does the best scampi and chips I have ever had! I would highly recommend Seawinds B&B to anyone looking to stay in Killybegs for work or while on holiday.

I stayed with Patricia and Gerry for 3 months on and off between May and November 2023 for work. Seawinds is a home away from home. Patricia and Gerry are the loveliest most welcoming hosts, they never leave you wanting anything and go above and beyond in their hospitality. The B&B is very homey, clean and has all the necessary facilities. The location is ideal, right in the heart of Killybegs, as I don’t drive it was perfect for me. I loved my stay in Seawinds and would recommend them to everyone.

Really comfortable, really friendly and helpful hosts, Thank You Gerry & Patricia for your welcome!! We really enjoyed your continental style breakfasts, scones are superb and the yoghurt n fruit just heavenly. Loved the access to the guest kitchen too!! Yes, parking is tight but it is private and secure, very reassuring!! We are already planning our return, for some more peace and relaxing Donegal-time!

Both Gerry & Patricia will look after you well. They are quite a team. We had room 4 which we booked well in advance of arrival,facing the back no problem as nice room with very comfy beds & good shower room too. Breakfast is continental with style try the yogurt & you will get a freshly made brown scone [really Irish] too. Location is amazing. Right in centre of Killybegs but quiet up a short slope from sea level with ample free car park alongside. We went to Andersons fish mainly restaurant both nights approx 150 meters walk, but you must book it in advance as only a small family owned & family managed eatery. Always busy! Gerry & Patricia have a free to residents home drawn detailed map available which we recommend 100% - allow half a day to travel all the suggested route with stop, but you can do as much or little as you wish.

Stayed the best part of a week at Sea Winds B and B in Killybegs. Sea Winds is centrally located, Private off street park area, which is secure and well lit. My room with en - suite bath was well lit, spotless clean and comfortably warm, ( weather out side was quite cold). Patricia and Gerry could not do enough to make my stay perfect, including a small fridge in the room. Breakfast, delicious Freshly made scones, homemade preserves, tea, fresh milk, homemade yogurt with fruit, and pieces of fruit, wonderful start to my day. Guest laundry available, very reasonable. Thank you Patricia and Gerry for making my stay perfect in every way.

I stayed at Seawinds B&B for the month of November 2022 while attending a training course. I can highly recommend it. Patricia and Gerard are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. I would choose Seawinds again for accommodation in Killybegs.

Spent the weekend here to explore Southern Donegal. Could not fault our stay here. We had a seaview room and it was lovely waking in the morning to see the boats. Breakfast was lovely, with homemade scones and a variety of choice. We were travelling with a baby and our host, put a cot in the room and was very thoughtful giving us extra sheets and blankets so the cot was comfortable. There was also a kitchen that guests could use, even with a fridge to store food etc. Our host also provided us with a map with attractions which we should visit whilst in the area. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Breakfast with fresh scones and yogurt with fruit started our day. Wonderful guidance on sites (Slieve League....amazing!) and comfortable stay. We highly recommend and Killybegs is amazing! Local pubs and the fishing village is accessible.
