フォルテ コチ(Forte Kochi)

We had a lovely two day stay on our trip through Kerala - this is a great place to rest and relax after discovering the sites of the surrounding area. The room was very comfortable and the courtyard with pool was delightful . We had dinner here both nights which was really very good. I would definitely recommend this lovely hotel

After a exhausting work in Kerala, we choose to stay 2 days in Forte Kochi and it was a dream come true. Quality of design, quality of food services, all was perfect. All the points of interest are reachable by foot or rickshaw, The pool is perfect and the beds confortable.

Lovely property, nice restaurant, easy access to all the sights. We were in India for a wedding in a nearby beach town and spent a couple of days Kochi to recuperate! Worked out perfectly ! Would come back to this lovely hotel

Good location in the heart of the historic district. Unique grounds. Some initial service issues at the hotel with restaurant staff and with a large tour group that took over the restaurant. But staff seeing our unhappiness bent over backwards to make our stay better. Rooms are ok---not a lot of shelf space in the bathroom.

Easily the best hotel we stayed at during our trip through India. The property is gorgeous and the staff is top notch and were incredibly accommodating. Food and location are also good, and the property was beautifully decorated for Christmas! Very highly recommended for anyone staying in Kochi.

This hotel was fabulous. Ask for our room 208, very spacious. Service and food was reasonable and excellent. Bring bathing suit (I didn’t); pool was enticing. Lots of courtyards and areas for relaxing. Great location.

Interesting historical building. Closely located to several walkable sites, restaurants and retail shopping.

We had a great time at the hotel – we stayed nearly a week, in room 215, a nice large and airy room overlooking the pool area, with a great roomy bathroom. The wonderful thing about the hotel is its location, on princess street, and there are a number of good cafes and restaurants within walking distance, plus ***y of the attractions and walking areas are all very local. The pool area is well laid out, and free afternoon tea from 4pm always had some good treats. From when we arrived, the check-in process was smooth handled by Chacko, who gave us a brief tour, and made sure we were settled in our rooms. All the staff were exceptional, from Mathew who looked after us for Breakfast and evening meals, ***** with Sony and Jobika who made sure we had everything we needed. Food was really good, we met the head chef Gejo Joseph, and nothing was to much trouble. Any variations to a menu or a special dish not on the menu, were sorted quickly, a non spice vegetable curry for example, or a cooling glass of Lasse, and Gulab Jamun, which were not on the menu. Jibin was happy to discuss the merits of *** City, and we found everyone spoke English very well. Whilst we were there we also had meals at the other 5* hotels, and the food at Forte Kochi definitely was the best we had in the area. There were normally some events like dancing or local music most evenings, and the music always stopped before 10pm. Finally checked out early by Shalut and on our way back to the UK, they offered a packed breakfast, and made sure we were organised for transport. We love travelling and this is one of the top hotels we have stayed at in terms of people, location and room. Will definitely be back.

The property has a charm and is well maintained. The staff were very knowledgeable about the surrounding places for visit related help. I missed their morning guided cultural tour but would have been fun. The restaurant had good breakfast spread. The location of the property was the best walkable distance from most of the attraction
