「This is a good option for those who want a good 3-star hotel, better than a few close to Platform 1 of North Railway station. The highlight is new, clean rooms, a restaurant,( Eatopia), a pool and a good ambience. But there is a catch in the location - this is very close to Platform 2, just like the other hotels are to Platform 1. So, if you do not have much luggage, take the railway overbridge from platform 1, get down on platform 2 and find the ticket counter on platform 2. There, you can see the Platform 2 exit- take that road leading to SRM Road ( in 1 minute, you will reach SRM road) and take a left- walk for another 3 minutes, and you will see the hotel on the right. If you have luggage, you exit through platform 1, take an auto- they will charge around 70 Rs in 2025 (Many may not know the location; you have to tell them about SRM road, or that you will guide them with Google Maps. Buffet breakfast was reasonable. Overall a good experience.」

「What we greatly appreciated was that while the furnishings were traditional, the amenities were modern and contemporary. Owned by the biggest name in the antiques trade, mr. Majnu, who became a dear friend by the end of our stay, each spacious room is individually designed with artefacts reflecting its character. Alan at front desk and all members of staff were courteous and attentive, ever-ready to help. The location, on the waterfront, is in the heart of the old jew town of mattancherry, with the parades i synagogue and dutch palace a stone’s throw away. Its waterside restaurant is popular with in-house guests and walk-ins alike. Highly recommend this hotel!」
