I have to write a review, this place is exceptional. My girlfriend and I stayed six nights in December, we wished we had booked longer. From when we arrived the service was perfect, never overbearing but always there to help you. We stayed in Pavana, it’s breathtaking and we have stayed all over the world in class accommodation, we think we know what good looks like! Let me tell you what touches make Langkhai epic. Our villa was split level, this enhances the internal spaces and views. The bifold bedroom and terrace doors brings the outside in. The full bed mosquito nets are draped and tucked in at turn down meaning being nestled in the trees is not a worry for sleep, you are cocooned in the comfiest bed. They give you a phone for your stay so you can contact them via WhatsApp at anytime with any questions, they respond fast and always helpful. Twice a day they visit for a morning clean and turn down with fresh bottles of drinking water and fresh towels. They also have mopeds making it easy to hire they come with helmets. Now for the best bit, we went to Koh Tao for the diving and snorkelling. We snorkelled every bay…even Mango Bay (good luck getting there) and Langkhai Garden is located between the two best bays on the island: Luek Bay and Tanote Bay. Just a few mins in the moped and you will be swimming amongst the most abundant and diverse marine life. For us it was black tip reef sharks in Luek Bay (or Ao Leuk) amongst many other typical tropical coral reef fish. And huge schools of fish, needle fish, and so many parrot fish in Tanote. Langkhai is just far enough away from the town to be quiet in the villas overlooking shark island and local bays but close enough to the hustle and bustle to nip down for dinner or head to Sairee Beach for drinks and fire shows. For nights you don’t want to head out and just want flake at the villa the takeaway options are great and they provide all the menus you need covering many cuisines. We will be going back. People say Koh Tao is getting busier but Langkhai is a quiet haven with breathtaking views you will never get bored of, with just three villas you are looked after and the plunge pool is as clean and well maintained as the villa it’s self. Watching sunrise from bed is a memory we will treasure for ever as well as sitting on the veranda with a bottle of Prosecco from the well stocked fridge! The only down side of staying here is how many pictures you take of that view as the light, clouds and wind means it’s always changing!
