This hotel is highly OVERRATED as a 4-star and not really ready for hosting guests! While the staff made efforts to rectify gaps in service, the ***agement has not equipped them to deliver good quality service.
1. “Confirmed” room unavailability - pre-confirmed and reconfirmed suite was not available and we were put in separate rooms in an older wing under renovation.
2. Check-in nightmare - beyond the room change, the check-in process was very slow and the access keycards provided didn’t work. We were shifted again to two other rooms where the issue continued throughout our stay.
3. Elevator/lift quality and availability - the access areas were blocked with furniture and construction materials with frequent unavailability of the lift, not to mention the dust and noise.
4. WIFI unavailability - totally UNAVAILABLE for most of our stay & we had to escalate the issue multiple times to then be told by the IT guy that there really was no WIFI on the floor area we were moved again to (despite being reassured otherwise).
5. Bathroom condition - poor water pressure in the flush, black silt in the bidet water, no hot water, poor quality towels that left huge amounts of lint
6. Smoking in non-smoking common areas - no compliance by some guests and no enforcement by the ***agement; and we had to repeatedly ask the offenders to stop smoking outside our rooms.
This experience erodes trust in the hotel booking process via travel portals.
