Feels like home from home. Been before and the welcome received was amazing. Feel like part of the family. Staff amazing, especially Antonio, Gina and the manager. Everyone from the cleaning staff to the waitresses so friendly. Missed panos, but Gina made up for it. Will definitely be back. Food 5 star plus as was our room. No complaints and can't praise highly enough. Thank you for an amazing holiday. We will be back. Liz and Christine.

This hotel is definitely what it says, 5*. This was mine and my partners first time in Greece and it did not disappoint. The food was always amazing, every member of staff was so welcoming and it was a relaxing place to spend a week. Nothing was ever too much trouble for the staff and they were all so friendly. There isn’t much around the area but you can get a bus for around €3 to the Old Port in Chania. Lots of different themed nights and little things to do at the hotel. We did the wine tasting night and it was a great experience. We never go back to the same place twice but we cannot wait to come back here again soon. Thank you Cavo Spada for making our first time in Greece so special

We visited this hotel for the second time after a gap of 2 years. Once again we had an amazing time with the food being excellent and the staff really friendly. We upgraded our room stayed in room 105 which had its own section of pool. This was a great decision and very private. A week was too short, my wife and I wish we had booked for 2 weeks!

The staff are the friendliest I have ever encountered on holiday. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were made to feel welcomed and valued. The check in staff were prompt and helpful and actually left the desk to walk us to our room. The room itself was immaculate, clean, classy and with its own pool directly from our patio area, cleaning staff did a great job daily. Having visited many hotels over the years I can say I have never seen a manager so present than in this hotel. We would regularly see him speaking, laughing and ensuring guests were happy. It was obvious to watch the interaction between the staff and manager that he is respected and does a fantastic job. The hotel gave an olive oil tasting with its restaurant manager and head chef both of whom were very knowledgeable and friendly, we left with real knowledge and will now always buy Crete olive oil :)) We were also fortunate to enjoy the wine tasting at the hotel, the sommelier and Valentia (I think that is her name) were warm, engaging and professional. The hotel is on a stony beach with beautiful views but the beach was not used probably due to water being a little cold for the time of year. It is a 30 minute ride into Chania which is well worth a visit especially to the old harbour where we enjoyed dinner whilst watching the sunset. Lovely bars and shops to visit and if you have the opportunity visit the famous old olive tree. We walked from the hotel (approx 1 hr 40 mins) and you can enjoy a drink or ice cream from the cafe once there. All in all it was the staff that made this holiday exceptional, when we return to this beautiful island it will be to this hotel because of them. Thank you for looking after us so well.

Fabulous. From the manager, guest relations star, all the catering staff, taxi man, Panos the greatest barman, the bar staff, the delightful Kath in nursery (who our baby Henry loved) you were all delightful and we had a lovely time. I wouldn't normally write a review but believe the staff truly deserve to be recognised. Whilst this hotel isn't perfect, the staff are incredible and made our stay. They couldn't do more for you and are soo genuine and lovely. Shout out to the pool bar and the crazy Panos and Gina from Georgina, 'whhhhhat' . Panos always made sure we had a cocktail in hand (grasshoppers are delicious) made us laugh and cared, always looking after my mum. You are a great guy. The hotel manager ...incredible and the restaurant manager. You all work soo incredibly hard and always have a smile on your face Thank you
