コルフ アクアマリン(Corfu Aquamarine)

What a bad start to our holiday, our garden view room looked at a wall, so we asked to be moved, room 2 had a great view of the sea , great !!! But next morning the next room had a shower and part of our room was covered in water, we told the receptionist, but later that day the same happened! So back to reception, this time a little more forceful! Eventually the day manager and maintenance man turned up and just about called us liars , I was starting to get a little hot under the collar (not like me) and pointed out my wife who was in her seventies could easily slip on the wet tiles and if she was hurt we would sue, that hit the right spot and we where offered a third room. So we moved ourselves again! This room was better but the hairdryer and safe didn’t work and the shower wasn’t good. But we didn’t want the hassle, so stayed put! When we arrived we where given a map and key , the staff didn’t offer to help with our cases even when we had a steep slope and 4 flights of stairs! The same comments came from other guests! It seems the older you are the more you have to deal with all the stairs and no help with baggage no matter how old you are. The food was never labelled always cold , sometimes the replenishment was lacking, so you where waiting for food, Wine was often warm and the one dessert was often still frozen! Most of the staff were totally indifferent to you need’s etc. We ended up eating out at least once a day! The best member of staff was the bartender always happy. All inclusive drinks ended at 10 ! Which surprised most of the youngsters! All and all a memorable hotel but not for the right reasons! I know it’s nearly the end of the season, but they need to make the effort to the end!

We are currently staying here in Aquamarine. We wanted to assure people that it is completely safe here in Corfu. There have been no fires in this area or anywhere near here. There was one fire in the North of the Island (2 hours from here) and it was extinguished within hours. There is a rigorous system for checking for potential fires and putting them out. The temperatures have been completely normal the entire time we have been here, mostly low 30s. Do not let the news put you off, there is nothing to be worried about. It is completely safe.

Just back from 2 weeks in this hotel. This is not a 4 stars. Apar**ent was meant to be 2 bedrooms but the second bedroom had 2 single bed in the main leaving room. Furniture was outdated. No cooking kit in this self catering apar**ent. King size bed was as hard as a rock. Fuse board kept tripping so made sure we had nothing plugged when we were out. 2 french doors out to the huge balcony did not closed properly, complained but nothing was done about it. Only good thing, the view absolutely stunning. Some apar**ents looked refurbished with new windows and doors so maybe they are better so can't comment on that. The only thing that was new and ok was the bathroom. Cleaning lady was nice and changed our bed sheets with new towels every 2 days and empty bins every day so can't fault her. She was mad busy so her cleaning standard were not as high as mine! Reception quite useless, very poor english or pretended not to understand! Pool is descent, sun beds scarce, no descent coffee at the pool bar, a bar that runs out of drinks, funny, probably because a lot of people were all meals/drinks included. the closest beach is tiny, 3 or 4 restaurants around, 2 overpriced supermarkets, not much to entertain, the Music House was good 20mn walk on the road, no path to walk anywhere so took Green buses at the bottom of that cardiac hill, bus were irregular and always late but cheap, nearest town is Ipsos. Had to take a taxi back everytime, from the taxi rank, make sure you tell the taxi driver how much you are willing to pay, they have no meter. Ipsos to Aquamarine is €20 and €25 after midnight. Renting a boat for the day is good value and best way to see the coast. Aqualand is good, bit of a treck on 2 buses but good day out. Corfu town is worse a visit for the day. Wouldn't rent a car, roads are atrocious, no parking and they drive like nuts.

This is my second time visiting Corfu and staying in the Aquamarine apar**ents, first back in 2011 as a single traveller and now in 2023 with my young family. We had such a wonderfully relaxing time. It was a much needed getaway with lots of quality family time. The location and surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. We did not hire a car this time but would do if we were to return. There is a small sandy beach in walking distance, and a number of mini marts and restaurants. The private beach is ideal for a spot of reading and relaxing. That’s all you can hear is the sound of the waves and the birds. The apar**ent was clean and they had everything we needed including a cot. We watched the sunrise each morning from the balcony which was the perfect start to our day. Ioulia gave us her number and helped us with any questions or needs we had. The family were very friendly and helpful. Our two children (1 year and 3years) had a lovely first ever holiday. They loved playing with all the outdoor toys that they had at the restaurant, it kept them entertained for hours. The food in Taverna Savvas was incredible, very tasty and catered to pescatarian and vegetarian diets. I would thoroughly recommend to single travellers, couples or families, wanting a relaxing getaway in peaceful surroundings.

The family owned hotel is well presented in a quiet spot of Corfu south. It is clean, simply but acceptably appointed, and rooms have the most beautiful views from their balconies. The restaurant is very pleasant, decoration, food and culture in Greek tradition. The service is professional, everybody courteous and helpful. The shower curtains are too short, leading to wet and slippery floor tiles. While we enjoyed the hotel, the restaurant and the simple comfort, we had a bad experience wit a tenacious, bad smell in our room .

What amazing holiday we had. The rooms are clean the air conditioning is fab. There is no entertainment but not needed pool fab private beach. Gregory at the bar was ace and Christina in the dinning room all staff friendly 5out of 5.

A dream location, quiet and with a splendid view. People very attentive to details, careful with each guest. I do this with pleasure and this can be seen in everything it offers. Delicious food. I even had a menu in Romanian. Cleanliness and attention to every detail. We will definitely return even if we are not used to going to the same place twice! We really liked it and highly recommend this beautiful place that we recently discovered!

Excellent choice for a holiday in CORFU (Agios Nikolaos Notos). Very clean hotel, friendly and helpful staff, AMAIZING WIEW FROM THE BALCONY (you can see the sunrise), rich and varied breakfast, well-equipped bathroom. Taverna (for lunch and dinner) with traditional greek cuisine, menu à la carte, with excellent and tasty food, bar with various drinks. A private beach with beds and umbrellas. All of this in the same location! I highly recommend it!
