Newton's Neelakanta Boutique Beach Resort

Location is fantastic. We stayed in a presidential suite and it is spacious, bed is good view is beautiful. How ever no WiFi in the room. First day no telephone working no tv in working condition. At night no water. We collect some in a bucket to flash the toilet. Second day the fix telephone and tv and water supply but not the WiFi. No happy

Worst hotel. Waste of money. I had booked 2 nights and made advance payment . Hotel staff dont taking care of guests and even not entertain complaints. I forced to vacate on the next day due to bad services of staff and poor quality of rooms. I sugest do not consider this property for stay.

3star only for its location....the location is amazing... bilkul beach k samne...room mai bed pai se beach view enjoy kr skte ho ...isk alawa service is poor...warms in Tap water..no cleaning...there were ***y crows in breakfast area..if u want beach side resort then go for it otherwise just skip it

The staff is so bad and impolite. They didn’t carry luggage at time, luggage was bring to us after more than an hour Room is good but lobby is awful Staff didn’t respond properly We booked a deluxe room, then at the time of check in they says that rooms are not available only suite and executive are available Either we have to go to less view room or pay extra money to get better view We told the staff to bring the extra bed 3PM Its now 8:30 PM they didn’t bring it On call they just say sorry We are continuously calling them every half an hour, all things just going on repeatedly.

Hotel is a big fraud. The rooms are having cockroaches and very smelly. AC normally trips during midnight and left you sweating. Though location is ok but services are very pathetic and no room service till 8AM. During checkout, check bills carefully as they gave fake food bills and don't allow luggage till it is paid as they knew people to avoid flight delay will pay them. Staff is impolite and non attentive.

Overall the hotel was ok. The room had a nice view in front of the ocean and location was very good in the middle of Light House Beach road. No roomservice during our 4 nights stay and there were small ants everywhere. Staff was not good at english and some had a very difficult time forcing a smile to their face but luckily some of them were helpful and smiling. The wifi wasn’t working and during both night and day there were loud noises from renovation of the hotel. One night I woke up several times in the night due to this.

Hotel Neelakanta is a lovely place, the staff are friendly and can’t do enough to assist you. Has one of the best views of the beach and ocean you could have. Great pool to relax that gets cleaned daily and on-site restaurant with fantastic food and drinks. The room has massive comfy bed that’s nice and soft, the bathroom is of western style and has great amenities available. It’s a perfect getaway for a week to just relax.

My recommendation is NEVER STAY at this hotel. I stayed there for 3 nights (21st March to 23rd March) and Neelakanta has spoiled my holidays. 1. On arrival at parking we waited for 30 min to pick our luggage 2. Then on check-in they provided room no 801 which is on 2nd floor. Construction work is going on over. So mind your step. Once inside the room we were shocked.. most of items of the room were broken.. bed, freezer, curtain.. toilet was dark only 1 dim light. Then they provided 901 on 3rd floor.. toilet there was a real pain.. water stuck in the bathtub and it was not cleaned till we checked out 3. Total misss coordination issue among staffs. Someone commit you something and other who actually does the job don't have any idea. 4. We were 3 adults and 1 child, paid for extra bed but not provided. Provided very less quantity of water and other toiletries 5. Breakfast was very limited options. On 22nd morning we had earlier morning start for sightseeing and the reception promised us for 7:30 am breakfast but restaurant simply denied to serve the same. They told they were not informed 6. Construction is ongoing at Neelakanta some messy everywhere. Watch out if you have kids. Irritating sounds every time. 7. The hotel is simply overpriced for it's location. Not deserve even 1 star. I would recommend not to stay there if you're care for your money

Great food and service from this restaurant. It’s upstairs so you miss it but they serve wonderful fresh fish and seafood. Especially prepared by Anil Kumar! Well worth a visit for lunch, drinks or dinner. Could not have had better service. Friendly, helpful and tasty.
