The Taj Gateway Calicut property clearly shows its age and is in urgent need of renovation. From the front gate to the grounds, the entrance, and the lobby, the infrastructure appears neglected, with visible signs of wear and tear. While the staff was courteous and the service commendable, the physical condition of the hotel leaves much to be desired. Maintenance seems to have been overlooked entirely. During our stay, we hosted guests and opted for the buffet at the restaurant. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The spread was unremarkable, and none of the dishes stood out in quality. The chicken, in particular, was tough and tasted stale, lacking the freshness and aroma one expects at a Taj property. The pool also appeared outdated and uninspiring. Overall, the property requires significant refurbishment to meet the standards associated with the ‘Taj’ brand. Without this, it may be time to reconsider its association with such a prestigious name.

My family was on a short visit to calicut and needed a stay for a night. This is a neatly maintained facility in town with easy access to all major points. Very close to the famous Paragon hotel which will satisfy your food requirements. Hotel rahmath for beef biriyani is nearby. Beach is at a walkable distance. Staffs are very cooperative. Toilets are neat and clean. Though a small premises, highly recommended for a relatively budget stay at Calicut

The rooms are very nice and good one of the best stay at ravis calicut the amenities are very nice and the service provided was very nice especially from front desk Ms Athulya Ms Nimisha Mr Bijo they give all assistance to us thank you for giving the best moments wonderful

Hi was good to stay at this hotel had convinient travel to reach out places not tried breakfast over here have access near by hotels available for my lunch and dinner options water bottle need to provide before we check in but they immediately reached on my request good place to stay

I recently stayed at Emerald Hotel Calicut during a business trip. While the hotel has some positive aspects, there were a few things that didn’t quite meet my expectations. Starting with the good—Emerald Hotel offers spacious rooms, which I appreciated. The room I was given was quite large and comfortable, making it a good value for the price I paid. However, there were a few downsides. The hotel did not quite match the images I saw when booking, which was a bit disappointing. The cleanliness was also not up to the mark, and maintenance could certainly be improved. Though it’s understandable given the price range, I believe there’s still room for improvement in these areas. Overall, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay and can overlook some issues with cleanliness and upkeep, Emerald Hotel is a decent option.

This is our 3rd visit to Woodies Bleisure , Calicut. In a day and age where it is very hard to find consistently great service, this hotel which is a stone's throw away from the railway station is surely an exception. With spacious well appointed rooms combined and great maintenance standards, this property has become my family's favourite whenever we visit the city. The breakfast spread is elaborate and has an menu that appeals to both kids and adults alike making it a meal to look forward to every morning. The staff are all courteous and warm. Housekeeping and room service are very prompt in doing their duty. A special mention to the hotel 's GM Mr. Rajesh who takes special interest and care in checking on the guests making the stay very memorable. Thank you team Woodies for the wonderful experience we have every time we visit. We hope to be back again soon.

Regular customer and always best property in the location. Very spacious rooms, decent front office, great breakfast. Appreciate if the front office can improve being more welcoming and smiling! value for money with nice pool (try to get time to use.

We had went for our wedding anniversary and they gave candle light dinner and cake as complimentary.The dinner will have soups,Starters,Main course and dessert. The Experience is exceptional.we recommend for couples.Go for package which include dinner.
