I recently stayed at Emerald Hotel Calicut during a business trip. While the hotel has some positive aspects, there were a few things that didn’t quite meet my expectations. Starting with the good—Emerald Hotel offers spacious rooms, which I appreciated. The room I was given was quite large and comfortable, making it a good value for the price I paid. However, there were a few downsides. The hotel did not quite match the images I saw when booking, which was a bit disappointing. The cleanliness was also not up to the mark, and maintenance could certainly be improved. Though it’s understandable given the price range, I believe there’s still room for improvement in these areas. Overall, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay and can overlook some issues with cleanliness and upkeep, Emerald Hotel is a decent option.

Excellent Stay and hospitality. The check in took a bit time otherwise everything was good. The food was excellent, and the live kitchen is also good. The room was well maintained and clean. Swimming pool was neat and clean and well maintained.

This hotel is situated just 700 meter away from the famous Kozhikode beach. Rooms are nice and clean. Staff is well mannered and polite. Front desk executive speaks Hindi as well as English. Breakfast is not up to the mark and tasty although they serve South Indian as well as North Indian dishes but they repeat same menu everyday so if you are staying there for more than two to three days than you may fed up with the breakfast. At few meter location there are lots of restaurants but most of them served veg. as well as non veg food. Famous SM street is hardly 1.5 Km away from this hotel . Overall you can enjoy your stay here.

Regular customer and always best property in the location. Very spacious rooms, decent front office, great breakfast. Appreciate if the front office can improve being more welcoming and smiling! value for money with nice pool (try to get time to use.
