First the good: The location was pretty easy to find and quiet - just what we needed on an overnight stay on the way down from Mole - the room was functional and seemed clean but I am not convinced just how clean it really was - I should stress this was just a fealing essentially relating to the fact that the choice of bedding did not seem compatible with daily washing. That said, I got a good night's sleep, it was comfortable, and there have been no health issues so far. The restaurant was OK at night - a good selection of local dishes and mine was fine. Overall though - despite my comments the hotel did the job and was cheap Now the bad: Breakfast was awfull - it was cheap but to be honest I wouldn't have eaten it if I had been paid to do so (and I am not particularly fussy) - how much is it to ask to emply someonbe to make an omlette to order - buffets are a health hazzard at the best of times - a lukewarm omlette and cold toast that has been sitting around for hours if not days is just not worth the risk
The guest house is not in the very center, but in a safe and quiet area. There were not many guests, so it was a great break from the hustle and bustle of the city. The room was very big. The price-hotel ratio is very good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I really liked this hotel. I would like to add that those who expect Radisson or Kempinski level will not expect it here, where all countries have the same rooms to sleep like that, you don't have to go to Ghana, you can sleep like that in Latvia or Norway. Where better to experience Ghanaian authenticity at its best than this hotel. I would also like to add that the staff was very accommodating in sending reservations for confirmation before obtaining a visa to enter Ghana.
I stayed there for three days. From the time I checked in, customer service was 10 out of 10! The staff is friendly, helpful, courteous, respectful, professional and accommodating. Room and common areas were neat and clean. The manager (Chris ) was very nice and always made sure we were ok. Kudos to him !!!!A special shout out to the hardest working staff Edmond and Bennett. They made sure we set up our itinerary and were very helpful, caring and made sure we were safe and comfortable…If I am ever in Kumasi, I will definitely lodge there again. I loved it!!! I will also recommend to my friends who visit Ghana.
NneiljfThis hotel has been designed, extremely well, to European standards. My room was clean, quiet, comfortable and had blackout curtains and plenty of well positioned plug sockets. The bathroom was excellent and the walk-in wet room shower was better than you'd find in the equivalent hotel in Britain. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was adequate . The location, not far from a modern shopping mall, is good. We stayed in seven hotels/apartments while we were in Ghana and Togo. This was the best. If I was revisiting Kumasi, I would certainly stay here again. It sets the standards other hotels in this region need to attain.
ゲゲストI enjoyed my stay at the Mikaddo city inn. The staff was very nice and the room was nice. It was not the cleanest or newest room, but that is what I expected. It is nice for the price that you pay
OOfosu AsanteThe rooms were neat with good electronics and beds. Staff were generally very good and made up for any errors made. The place was peaceful and devoid of city noise.
