Wonderful resort in the midst of town but with a green lush outlook We loved staying here as we could walk to everything and the whole vibe was relaxed. We even had a monkey visit our room in the afternoon. Pool was refreshing and breakfast tasty

Lovely Hotel in the Western Ghats -need to be mobile - as there are lots of steps. Excellent restaurant with wonderful fresh food both for dinner and breakfast. Reasonably priced alcohol. Lovely staff and cute gift shop out the front. Nice pool if you have time for a dip. Laundry available but everything is dried in dryers due to the monkeys stealing washing!

Lovely hotel to stay at. The pool was just great to swim in. The night show was great. The rooms were lovely and quiet and the bed was good. We also went on a spice garden tour which was very interesting. We went to a local martial arts show in the local town which was fun and exiting. As we were worn out we didn't go on the National Park walk.

A resort surrounded by nature. Away from the noisy city environment. The rooms are clean and the dining area is well maintained and the food is tasty. House keeping is good. The staff are polite and responsive. We like to visit during cooler season to enjoy the nature once more.

I just had the most amazing staycation at cardamom county by Xandari , Thekkady. You can trust Goole maps to take you to the right location and it is very near the main attractions of Thekkady like the boating area inside the reserve forest , the staff is the highlight here, their behaviour is very cordial, right from the security to the housekeeping staff.There is ample parking space with an area to charge your Electronic vehicles.We were warmly greeted by the staff with a welcome drink and a tilak in the forehead. The check in process was smooth and hassle free, I had booked online via Agoda and had no issues whatsoever, the booking was followed as expected, we chose two periyar cottages for myself, my parents and my sister . The rooms were spacious, clean and ambient, they had an amazing view , the whole resort is surrounded by lush flora and fauna , nature has almost taken over every part of that place and you can hear birds sing almost every time, the resort is located in a hilly terrain and the cottages are arranged as such but with beautifully carved walking spaces and steps.The food at their restaurant was toothsome, they had high tea with snacks everyday by 4 pm , their coffe and tea were amazing, the menu was also lavish and included all sorts of local and international cuisines. Room service was prompt and the staff was always ready to help. They have a dedicated travel desk who will help regarding your travel needs be it for local sightseeing or for transfers, we took their one day off roading package to a nearby view point and the experience was safe and joyous. Overall we enjoyed it as a family, we had actually gone to Thekkady to celebrate my Father's birthday and he enjoyed it as well , they have a relaxing spa and a gym and a huge pool but couldn't check them out . We are really impressed by the service and hospitality of cardamom county and will definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a complete staycation to rest , recuperate and for some amazing forest/nature adventures. Oh and the climate there at this time (July end - Aug beginning) was just perfect, not too rainy and not too sunny, nights were cold and the days were pleasant.

One of the best experiences in terms of hotel. The staff, the ***agement, the hotel are all 5/5. Humble, obliged and very helpful. I was travelling with my 19th Months baby and the hotel staff took atmost care of him in terms of food requirements and safety. Overall a must visit place. Mr. Varghese, the hotel in charge was very much in control of the entire ***agement.

We stayed in 6 hotels in Kerela and this was my favourite. A charming little hotel tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the town, but easy walking distance to local amenities, we could even walk to the Periyar wildlife sanctuary. Monkeys make a regular inquisitive visit to hotel verandas and into your room if you leave the door open! That said, they are not a nuisance at all. The staff here were superb, particularly the restaurant staff who remembered our tea and coffee order after only 1 day. The buffet food was excellent and the afternoon tea by the pool was the best we experienced. Even the coffee was drinkable which is saying something for hotels in Kerela. The yoga studio was inspiring, watching the monkeys watching you exercising is something quite special. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped (even a bottle opener on the back of the bathroom door), although some people might view them as getting a bit tired. Like most hotels in Kerela, they could do with a bit more shaded area by the pool and there were a limited number of Sun beds. This hotel won’t be everyone’s favourite but is was certainly mine.

This was one of the larger hotels that we stayed in on our tour of Kerala but it can still be commended for providing a personal service. The room was clean and functional with a lovely outdoor seating area. Don't leave anything on the porch as will be thieved by the naughty monkeys! Fresh drinking water was provided ( love the initiative to reduce plastic bottle use) The breakfast and evening meals were plentiful and really tasty with an option of buffet style or al a carte. They also serve complimentary afternoon tea and indian snacks by the pool every day. The grounds of the hotel are lovely and there is a large pool and a spa offering massage services. There is an abundance of wildlife in the area and the National Park is on your doorstep. There are also shops in the area and spice farm tours. The area felt safe to walk around and everyone we met were really respectful and welcoming . The staff on the hotel were lovely. I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel.
