Excellent. They make you feel like you’re their special guest at their home and everything is well thought out in order to maximise your comfort. Garden was beautifully curated and the kiseki was exquisite as well. Definitely go for the half board option if it’s available! Thank you for the unforgettable experience.

祇園の絶好のロケーションにある素敵な旅館。カンジさんとチーム全体の素晴らしいサービス。スタッフは皆とてもフレンドリーで歓迎してくれました。私たちはケイセキディナーを楽しみました - 素晴らしいプレゼンテーションとおいしい料理。朝食はとても美味しかったです、特にゆず粥はとても美味しかったです。旅館は手入れが行き届いており、美しく手入れされた中庭と水設備が備わっています。とても魅力的な場所です。旅館体験を探しているなら強くお勧めします。

私と妻は初めて旅館に宿泊しました。柚子屋旅館は、八坂神社本殿に隣接する小さな伝統的な旅館です。旅館は東京から新幹線で車で約20分です。私たちが到着すると、ホストは私たちを歓迎し、長い岩の多い階段を荷物を持って上っていきました。私たちの部屋はとてもプライベートで、ホテルで着る着物を用意してくれました。彼らは私たちに朝食と夕食に着物を着ることを勧めました。私たちの滞在には朝食と夕食が含まれており、どちらも素晴らしい伝統的な日本の朝食と夕食でした。私たちの部屋も畳のある伝統的な和室でした。部屋には本物のベッドがありませんでした。夜になると畳の上に座布団が置かれ、驚くほど快適でした。ホテルの真ん中には美しい庭園もありました。彼らはまた、1階に彼と彼女のホットバス/浴槽がありました。ぜひ皆さんも旅館を体験してみてください。

ゆずや旅館は、八坂神社のすぐ隣という絶好のロケーションでした。そのため、いつでも参拝できる八坂神社の夜景は格別に美しかったです。スタッフは親切で、部屋の毎日のフラワーアレンジメントから食事の手配まで、滞在中のあらゆる細部に細心の注意が払われました。スタッフは素晴らしいプロ意識とおもてなしを示しました。今回の滞在はとても楽しかったので、友人や家族が将来京都を訪れることがあれば、柚子屋旅館に宿泊することをぜひ勧めたいと思います。

More traditional ryokan in an amazing location. Breakfasts were the best we had in Japan during our 10 day trip. Our room Tan was above a waterfall that really provided a nice sleep sound. Staff were also so helpful! Would stay again and a great value as well.

We had the most wonderful stay at Yuzuya Ryokan, it provided the true traditional ryokan experience from beginning to end. The staff are so friendly and always willing to help and look after us. The room was huge and so comfortable. And the Japanese breakfast was absolutely delicious. The location was also very conveniently based in Gion, close to the temples in the area and in walking distance to the main Gion district where we found many shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back!

Great experience of Japanese lifestyle, sleeping in futon beds in a tatami room. Highlight of the stay is the Japanese breakfast , wearing a yukata garb. staff are very helpful. They are like family, assisting us from the start until the end.

This was a true Japanese experience. The place is magical and the food is amazing. I loved being able to try multiple authentic Japanese dishes in one meal

Very decent and authentic ryokan. Friendly and efficient staff. Nice food. Neat and environmental friendly. Convenient location. Had a wonderful and enjoyable stay there. Highly recommended!
