Wonderful, small, charming hotel, perfectly situated right on the beachfront of La Bernerie-en-Retz; a delightful small Bretton town with great Boulangeries, it's own Chateau and a good selection of shops and interesting bistros. The hotel is immaculately kept and the nineteen rooms are well appointed and cleverly designed. The hosts and their staff are helpful, friendly and professional. The dining room and terrace overlooking the beach are perhaps their unique selling point ; morning activity at the beach and sailing school.....sunset dinners on the terrace with particularly good food , will be abiding memories . I can't recommend this hotel enough; a rare find !

I had booked for 2 nights the "Chambre de charme - #2 Chambre double vue mer". I arrived one day earlier as planned and booked directly at the reception the last room available for the night, a small single room. The receptionist was friendly, helpful and showed me the room. It was very small, perfectly clean, comfortable bed but the downside was the noise from the other rooms. My room with the balcony was perfect, also very clean plus a modern bathroom and the lovely balcony (deck chair, small table and chair) with great view of the ocean. The walls in that part of the hotel must be different, as there was hardly any noise. I did not have breakfast or any other meal in the restaurant as the terrasse had been closed (outside the season apprently only serviced on the weekends) and I wanted to sit outside.

A very good-looking hotel at a very strategic location : beach, parking, shops, restaurants and bars, all are very close. The rooms are very well equipped and the beds are comfortable. The French breakfast is rich and the quality of the restaurant / terrace is top (plus the view on ocean, sailing boats and sunset !). The team is simply professional, available, reactive and very pleasant.

Superbe hôtel, avec vue sur mer, personnel accueillant et discret, établissement très calme et propre. Allez y les yeux fermés, nous ne sommes pas déçu et nous reviendrons volontiers passez de belles vacances. Très bons petits déjeuners copieux et produits frais. Nous vous souhaitons une belle saison.

Hôtel-restaurant idéal, il est parfaitement tenu par cette famille et mérite d'être connu. Je n'ai que des félicitations à faire (aucune remarque négative), tout était parfait ! Le professionnalisme de l'ensemble du personnel était de très haut niveau, bravo ! Bien cordialement.
