ザ・ラ・コナー・イン(The la Conner Inn)

We enjoyed our stay at La Conner Inn! The location was perfect for walking into town and visiting the local restaurants and shops. The property is older but well maintained and the rooms were quite spacious. We enjoyed the included breakfast that had a variety of options to choose from. The staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient. The only downside was that our room was on the main road side so not as quiet as were hoping for but other than that, we would happily stay here again.

This sweet little inn, right in the heart of downtown La Conner, is a great place for an overnight or a couple of nights - accessible to so many shops, restaurants and activities just outside the door. The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars was that the room was a bit stuffy (there was a portable AC unit but it didn't produce much cool air; also, there were no screens on the windows so even if we cracked them open to let in air, we also let in bugs). Also, the breakfast was pretty limited and frankly not great. But it was nice not having to go out somewhere else for breakfast (though there are places in walking distance to go, if you prefer). Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was just great for a short stay.

We loved this stay. The hotel was excellent with nice large rooms and AC if needed. Location is perfect. The small town is a gem of nice shops and great for a stroll. Great stop off prior to the ferry to the San Juan islands.

The property is so nice and we always feel at home at the LaConner Inn. The rooms by the on-site restaurant, Oyster and Thistle, get some noise early in the morning because of the deliveries to the restaurant. Not the LaConner Inn’s fault but it does make for an early wake up.

We liked the location of the hotel and the staff was friendly enough. Breakfast and coffee were quite adequate. What weirded us out, was a dog in the room next door started making the craziest and loudest noises in the middle of the night and simply would not stop. Not so much a fault of the hotel outside of the fact they let noisy dogs stay there.

We loved this place! The room was very comfortable, the location can’t be beat and the staff was lovely. The included breakfast showed attention to detail, like the house-made granola (which was delicious). This was our second stay here and we’ll definitely come back.

We found the rooms nice but nothing stood out. The air conditioner was very noisy and we also found we could hear our neighbours tv for the evening. Location is great and very walkable. Atmosphere is comfortable.

Great and caring staff helped make the stay awesome including planned champagne at checkin. Wonderful features for seniors like small fridge on shelf so no stooping to load/unload. It would be nice if they upgraded their toilet paper to something like Charmin to more befit a quality establishment!

We loved our large room with a king bed and separate room with 2 twins. The easy access to shops was wonderful. Our only suggestion is to have better quality offerings for breakfast.
