ミラダス アレナル ホテル & ホットスプリングス(Miradas Arenal Hotel & Hotsprings)

Small resort with pool and larger warm 'hot spring' water pool with swim up bar. Great views of Arenal when no fog/clouds around. Easy to get around, though not flat. Each room is it's own building. Room was basic without a lot luggage space. Bath was fine with hot shower and small sink. Covered balcony/patio on back of each facing Arenal. Breakfast was quick with 4-5 options from Omelet to Pancakes and was offered at your choice of 7-8am or 8-9. Dinner was good with reasonable prices and we ate there both nights. Road sign can be hard to notice. Though google maps worked well.

Our kids had a blast in the hot spring and the pool - which are next to each other. The rooms are all spread out over the property providing you with the privacy and close to nature. The dinner menu is exhaustive and we never felt the need to go into town. The staff is super helpful and extremely patient. Highly recommend.

Two nights at this hillside hotel with direct views of the volcano. Room 11 was spacious and a view of the volcano from the bed - cloud permitting. The room was very clean and modern - and must have had a makeover compared to other previous comments and images posted here of the rooms. Another room was being refurbished whilst we were there. The pool area was clean too and all the better for a hot spring pool at 45 degrees. Sitting in the warm water drinking cocktails at the swim up bar doesn’t get much better. The hotel is a few KM outside La Fortuna so we opted to eat at the hotel on both nights. The food was ok and lots of choice. Free parking right next to the detached room.

The window was broken&there were no mosquitoes nets. We got another room but it was dirty, filled with spiderwebs,awful bathroom(old, the sink was in the shower), hairs in the shower. The solution offered was to give us 10$ per night. Shame

The lock on my door was broken and I had to leave my room unlocked for 5 hours. Shower was not very nice, breakfast was awful.

Beautiful property and hot spring. Excellent view of Arenal volcano from our hotel room balcony. Majestic

We really can recommand this hotel. The location is very good, the view is amazing, You can relax in the hot pool with a cocktail while enjoying the view on the volcano. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. the accomodation is basic but very clean.

Nice clean place if you don’t want to spend exorbitant money on resorts.

Amazing view from our room. Fantastic staff. You need to have a vehicle or to hire transportation, if you want to do anything off the property.
