Hotel Arenal Rabfer

Arenal Rabfer hotel was fantastic! The rooms were clean and someone was always available to help us if needed. The location to the core of La Fortuna was perfectly walkable with tons of shops and restaurants nearby. We didn't use the pool but it looked clean and well kept, as did the rest of the grounds. Breakfast was included and there was a selections of 5 different dishes. There was a safe in our room and cameras where we parked our car.

Pleasent hotel just 2 blocks from the heart of town. Good onsite resturant that had a scrumptious fixed menu offering for breakfast. Room was comfortable with working AC. Staff were very accomodating of requests.

Great little hotel in a central but quiet location in La Fortuna. Clean rooms, lovely pool area and good food in adjoining restaurant with a good breakfast included. Staff really friendly and helpful.

Clean small property. Nice friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Hotel did not provide any information regarding activities. Although they were easily available once you were in the shopping area. We used Uber for transportation.

Budget friendly hotel no frills but clean, good service, nice included breakfast

We had bed bugs in the room which spoiled our stay in the hotel. Breakfast was good at the restaurant downstairs.

My late check-in was easy. My whole family very well. Good wifi signal. Excellent breakfast options. Within walking distance to bus terminal.The bathroom was typical Costa Rican style.

The room was rather smaller verses what's in the picture. The morning staff in the restaurant were great however there could be more breakfast options.

We spend a good 5 days at this hotel. The front desk staff provide really good customer service. They went out of their way to accommodate our requests such as hair dryer, call for cabs, hangers, inquiries for local hot spots etc. The breakfast has 3 options: costa rican breakfast, pancakes and French toast. You do have to tell them the time you’re planning to eat breakfast but they’re very accommodating so it’s fine. We did ask them to have breakfast ready on a certain time due to scheduled tours and they did have it. The rooms are nice size but not fancy as you can imagine. Shower is decent size too. However, the location is really good. You’re close to some nice restaurants and a very amazing ice cream place. We also swam at the pool one night. They do have separate pool towels (make sure to ask for those). There was one woman playing loud mexican music and Laura (front desk) politely but firmly told her to lower the volume. I thought it was very appropriate. It was Super loud!!! Also, my fiancé’s birthday was in December 27 and they left a nice surprise for us in the room. Overall, we had a great experience at this hotel. I appreciate their efforts to make us happy and we left them nice tips. Pro tip: Ask for what you need as they’re very accommodating. I didn’t know they had hair driers but once I asked I was provided one. It’s that simple!
