Stayed in this hotel with my husband as part of a Leger Tour for 4 nights. Do not be fooled by the lovely pictures you see of this Chateau. Had to take our own bags to our room which involved dragging them up some steps (no lift to first floor) and then down a long corridor. The room was dark and no view from the tiny window so paid extra to change it for a lake view room which had a restricted view of the lake, slightly bigger than the first room, poorly stocked mini bar, lumpy bed, shaver socket not working - but it was better than the first room. Very limited on lifts in this hotel and lots of steps, only 2 outside areas to sit - one to the side of the restaurant and a center courtyard which was very untidy and uncomfortable. Service is practically non existent especially in the bar we didn't eat in the restaurant as we were told it was fully booked although it looked empty to us, think it was more a lack of staff then fully booked. Breakfast was ok but not 5 Star in fact nothing about this hotel is 5 Star quality except the prices. On the first night we were sitting in the courtyard and spotted a rat scuttling down the drain, we didn't thing much of it bearing in mind the location of this hotel but the next morning on our way down to breakfast we saw 2 more rats running down the corridor which is not what you expect to see in any hotel, although we didn't see anymore rats inside the hotel we did see more in the courtyard during our stay. The staff were pleasant enough but not overly helpful. All in all this is not a relaxing place to stay and would not recommend it and a long way off 5 Star quality.
I stayed at the Asparia Brussels Royal La Resante Hotel between 9th - 11th May 2023 in room No.8. I was extremely disturbed during my sleep due to the ongoing road works right outside my window, which started at 7.28am on one morning and a similar time the next morning. The room was shaking and the noise was extremely loud due to the works. This is totally unacceptable and I would not expect any work to take place before at least 8am. The hotel should have ensured this. I booked my stay on the 5th of May. However it was not stated anywhere that you were going to have road works taking place during my stay, and I was not informed that there would be any noise at reception upon my check in. This again is unacceptable, and the staff should at least warn you of this. If I had known this, I would have stayed somewhere else, especially as I had some very important work meetings and this added to the stress. I made a complaint during my stay at the hotel reception, but only received a verbal sorry. In my follow up communication with the hotel management, the hotel has failed to recognise that it is their responsibility to ensure that guests have a pleasant and undisturbed stay at the hotel, although as the arrangement was between the hotel and the road works company, they are ultimately responsible for ensuring that any work did not take place before 8am. I did not see any staff go out at 7.30am and ask the workers to stop the work as it is before 8am - ultimately this is what should have happened. The hotel clearly lacks in good customer service and just tried blaming the issue on someone else. Would not stay here again.

Calme et harmonie pour cet hôtel de qualité. L’accueil est chaleureux et le service soigné et attentif. Le petit-déjeuner est généreux et varié et selon la météo peut être pris dans le jardin. Les chambres sont très confortables et l’écrin vert dans lequel l’établissement est niché en fait une halte très agréable au cœur de Waterloo. Un très bel endroit pour un court séjour ou bien plus (nous n’avons pas encore eu l’occasion de découvrir le restaurant !).
Me alojé en el hotel B&B Hotel Brussels Centre Louise los días 22, 23 y 24 de septiembre en una habitación carente de las comodidades más elementales para un hotel de cuatro estrellas, además de las incidencias relacionadas con la habitación que se me adjudicó. Se me dió la habitación 106 en la primera planta. Nada más entrar, nos dimos cuenta de que una de las lámparas sobre la cama estaba colgando. Intentamos apagar el aire acondicionado porque no hacía temperatura para tenerlo encendido y no fue posible apagarlo. Además, el espejo tenía una banda luminosa que era imposible apagar, teniendo que estar encendida toda la noche. El recepcionista vino a la habitación y no fue capaz de solucionar estos fallos, así que tomó nota para que los repararan al día siguiente. Efectivamente, al día siguiente estaban todos CASI solucionados porque el aire acondicionado, aunque muy bajo, todavía seguía funcionando y así lo tuvimos los tres días, SIN PODER APAGARLO. Al día siguiente, el 23 de septiembre por la noche, nos damos cuenta de que se sale el agua por debajo del lavabo. Tuvimos que poner una papelera y el día 24, por la mañana, se lo dije a la recepcionista. Tomó nota para solucionarlo pero, cuando regresamos al hotel por la noche, NO LO HABÍAN REPARADO. Tuvimos que usar el cuarto de baño con el agua cayendo en la papelera que habíamos puesto. Además de estos problemas en la habitación, echamos en falta una serie de instalaciones y servicios elementales en un hotel que ”afirma tener” cuatro estrellas: * no tenía armario para guardar la ropa * no tenía silla alguna para sent****. * el espejo del cuarto de baño estaba tan bajo que una persona baja (como mi esposa) no podía a verse. * la ducha no tenía puerta, por lo tanto, el agua se salía hasta la entrada cuando uno se duchaba. Como consecuencia de todas las incidencias y carencias indicadas anteriormente, nuestra estancia en su hotel NO HA SIDO CONFORTABLE Y SATISFACTORIA como cabría esperar en un hotel de cuatro estrellas. Lo clasifico como un hotel de TRES ESTRELLAS JUSTITO Y BÁSICO.
A nice hotel, friendly personal and clean. Sadly the breakfast times were absolutely confusing. The breakfast time we were told, was written next to the lift and in the room - all are different. The worst breakfast was always never prepared on time so it was difficult to plan you sightseeing/business day proper or you’ve to leave without breakfast.
