Excelente experiencia!

Poor service in restaurant while we waited for our room to be prepared. The restaurant can 15 or so tables inside and about the same outside. only 5 or six tables were in use. It took over 2 hours to get our lunch. my friend got a ribeye. I got shrimp crevchi and fried calamari. 2 appetizers. After a hour we inquired about our food. we were told they were busy. Mind you 2 weeks before we stayed here as well. That trip more than half of the tables were being served. the whole process on the 1st meal was less than an hour. There were 2-3 tables that filled with evidently visiting Hilton employees. I inquired about my food when a 4 top was seated next to us. it was still an hour later and the calamari was cold, soggy and limp. Service was horrible to us but amazing to the possible Hilton employees at the tables next to us. My friend asked for a steak sauce that comes with the meal(4 choices available) an hour into the wait. She was served a different sauce. We.She was informed that she needed to order her prefence when she ordered her steak. This wad not a language barrier. My friend 1st language is Spanish. IN ADDITION THERE IS A MANDATORY SERVICE CHARGE. So I had to pay a mandatory amount for crappy service.

We stayed here 2 nights before our cruise. The hotel is new and clean. The staff is friendly. The pool and restaurant have wonderful views of the water. We ate all our meals at the hotel as there is nothing nearby to walk to. The restaurant was not able to handle the dinner crowd on our second night as we waited 2 hours to be served. I am giving the hotel 4 stars as it was everything we needed for the 2 nights before our cruise. I would not want to stay any longer as there is no beach access and nothing to do other than the pool.

Enjoyed our stay here very much. The hotel is new and very comfortable. The rooms were spacious and had beautiful bathrooms. There was a small balcony. The only thing I can complain about in the room was the tile needed a better mopping. The shower was fantastic, safes in rooms. Checkin was very nice with dancing and music accompanied by a welcome drink. The pool awesome and the grounds beautiful. It is very close to the cruise port of LaRomana which is why we stayed here. About an hour drive from Punta Cana airport. We arranged a private transfer to and from the area for our cruise. We took a taxi from the hotel to port the morning of the cruise. There is one restaurant in the hotel. Over priced for sure. Breakfast was 23.00 with tax and gratuity for buffet style. I believe dinner was 34.00. Also buffet style. You can also order a few sandwiches etc from the bar. Oh one other downside for safety-the concierge (?) arranging for taxis when we were checking in asked for our room number. We were women traveling alone and I told him I would rather not share that info due to safety and over my head he asked the clerk our room number and he gave it to him! Managers, please rectify that process! I always carry door alarms and an additional lock so we did utilize that but I don’t see why they couldn’t just take down a name for the next morning. You can’t be too cautious these days. Would I stay again, yes. I’ll try to share some photos.

Hotel was lovely , pool , reception . Decent size room with balcony . In general lovely stay some lovely staff Paolo , Victor and Willy . Restaurant ok food ok but was overlooked a few times constantly passed before taking an order . 2nd time I got up and left as waiter didn’t return . Food was still on floor the next morning from evening meal. Omelette zone ok for breakfast but didn’t want egg everyday , bread got dry and hard out too long .so wasn’t good to toast . I will say I was disappointed that the chef in kitchen 1 of them a tall Caucasian man who ran his hands through his hair before taking my omelette order how unhygienic ? Why did he not wear a bonnet on his head like the other 2 ???😒 Was disappointed with cleaning service as hall way outside room hadn’t been hoovered for a while papers over the floor for days. and the bathroom surface in my room wasn’t cleaned. Marks left for days.. On a whole a lovely hotel welcoming reception area . Felt safe But some things do need more attention.

I would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone looking to stay in la Romana. As a diamond member who have travel Many Hilton properties this one is one of the best Hilton Garden Inn in have stayed in. The rooms were clean, comfortable and the ocean view was amazing. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The grounds were clean and well maintained. The food at the restaurant was tasty and breakfast had many options for both adults and children. Even though the pastries were not fresh. The prices were reasonable at the restaurant and bar. Overall had a great stay with mu family but I would love that this property had more entertainment options for both children and adults.

The hotel is modern and very clean. It’s a great place to spend the night before a cruise if you don’t need to eat. There isn’t anywhere walkable to eat and the restaurant is understaffed and the service was so bad that after sitting down for 30 min without any acknowledgment from staff I went out to the bar to get drinks to bring back to restaurant. The waiter never did bring me water and charged again for the drinks (have to pay for water) I paid for at the bar. It was a 2 hr wait to get food which was cold and mediocre. Even trying to pay our bill was quite the process. I wouldn’t stay here again because of the food situation.

The check in Wasn't smooth! The premise was limit due to a film, we couldn't do anything because the film crew was having more priority than us. Didn't like the staying at all!

The hotel is fantastic. So happy to have a place like this to stay in the city. It is super convenient if you want to experiment the city and the culture. The staff is super attentive and professional. The place is so quiet, perfect to rest and spend time with family. I couldn’t ask for a better place. Can’t wait to be back in the summer with my son and husband.
