Less than 3 minutes walk from the train station. Perfect base for touring Cinque Terre, moreover, Le Spezia is a very lovely town, charming and pretty in her own way. Everything was perfect, the gentleman at the desk, Luca always had a smile on his face, he is the reason that we keep going back to this wonderful country.

Our family and I are frequent travelers, both within the US and abroad. During our trip to Austria and Italy this hotel was such a disappointment that I had to write a review. Below are the issues: 1) Shades insufficient to block light from street: When trying to sleep, the room had so much light through windows that it almost felt like daytime. For me, that makes sleeping difficult. 2) Street noise all night: Windows were upgraded but noise of city is not blocked when trying to sleep. 3) Bed sleeping area smaller than other properties: Few beds in Europe are even queen size, but this bed was smaller than most. 4) Hot sleeping conditions: Thick quilt was too hot and would not allow us to go air conditioning. 5) Offsite front desk staff: Warning that the front desk is vacant until 10am and despite phoning two remote #s, there was no answer. 6) Shower temperature hard to regulate and gets ice cold instantly

We liked the excellent location, good value, clean room, good A/C, and most importantly, fantastic host! We had a great 2-night stay at Lunamar and enjoyed our visit to Cinque Terre. Luca, thanks for letting us stayed in Lunamar’s courtyard while we’re waiting for our train to Milan.

Tiny, noisy, no way to close shades to keep sun out. No lights in stairway to 3rd floor. No elevator. Like a bad hostel.

Amazing location, nice rooms with a feel of Italy and really nice staff. We stayed just for a day to see Vernazza and other villages, and it was so perfectly situated to get there and around and still see the center by night.

Fantastic location in La Spezia at 100m from the train to visit Cinqueterre. You can also book the private parking and the staff are very nice and give you plenty of information and recommendations. They even gave us an iron when we asked for it. The only con would be that our bathroom was little and you had to close the door in order to get to the washbasin.
