We came to this place by the suggestion of our friends who wear staying here 2 times. But it was last year. So I guess now something changed. The personal was terrible rude. 1. We came around 9 am, they said room is not ready come around noon. We came 2-3pm. They said the room are ready; so we(me and my wife) went there so tired and hungry wanted to take shower and go to the restaurant. I went to shower and after I couldn’t find any towel. So all wet I put my clothes on and went out to look for towels while my wife taking shower. (2).I found one worker outside and called him: Hello sir. He made a gesture with his hand as if for an animal: You come here! I didn’t react on it: just asked can we have a towel? He said I’ll call to the reception. Then we wait about 5 minutes no towels! Then I I found the phone and call by myself again: They said we will bring. We wait about 5 minutes more. Then my wife said I’m cold already bring anything, and I gave her towel for the floor and feet, coz it was only towel I found. In the end they didn’t bring it. I found the guy in the garden and asked him, he was really kind and after he heard we wait 20 minutes for it, he went and bring it finally. 3. We went to restaurant to eat . After 20 minutes it gets hot inside so we went outside, there was all tables free, we sit in one. Straight one lady came in rush and said: You can’t sit here , it’s only for guests! Like whaaat? 🤬 That was EPIC! My wife said: We are guests!!! She said: Oh sorry it’s reserved! We didn’t move because it was to crazy, saying this to the customers. And 4. Until 10 pm was so loud music in the restaurant, so people can’t sleep 😴 and often people stay there day before trip to Komodo, so have to wake up so early. Have to mark one guy who was good and nice, his name: Deni. If you guide or taxi, ask him. P.S. after couple hours I went outside to see for who it was reserved and there is not even 1 person 😅 down there 👇🏻 this picture. So in the end we only liked beach and sunset’s in this hotel.

Overall good place to stay. The breakfast wasn't amazing but the location and service was very good. I would recommend this place to stay but would rent a moped or car so can access the local town.

這是我全程最貴的酒店，難得來一次科莫多，希望住好一點。酒店挨着沙灘，環境還行，我客觀評價，有一説一，並不是要抹黑他們。但是衞生條件非常差！請看實拍照片，一床被子上面可以有6處污漬！別説上一個客人用完沒洗，我甚至懷疑幾個客人用完沒洗！我沒有潔癖，但是一大塊黃色污漬旁邊幾點血漬，換誰看了不噁心？找前台投訴，他説就他一個值班的，沒人換洗，滿房沒有辦法給我換，甚至找一床多餘的乾淨被子都沒有！我半夜找攜程投訴，可以給我更換酒店，但是在4公里意外，科莫多交通極不發達，晚上沒車，要自己扛着行李走路過去。最後我妥協，不蓋被子，穿着衣服睡一晚，幸虧沒感冒。第二天一日遊回酒店，進門發現還是那床骯臟至極的被子，火一噴就上來了！這不僅是嚴重的衞生問題，還是惡劣的態度問題！屢教不改，把客户投訴當**！我委託攜程投訴，酒店給我的補償方案僅僅是免費吃一頓晚餐，我不接受，沒有吃他們免費晚餐，然後酒店死豬不怕開水燙，經濟上一分錢賠償都沒有，精神上連道歉信都不肯給寫！我在這裏給大家避雷了。

I had a lovely stay at the Sylvia Resort. The staff were friendly and helpful when my room card did not work. My room was very comfortable and right on the beach and also close to the restaurant. The Restaurant is open 24/7, but I think they can improve the quality of their food. The calamari was tough and overcooked. My friends ordered different dishes, but it all looked the same.

Sylvia Resort is in a beautiful location. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. It is great value for money, particularly given the prices of the resorts located around it. We would definitely stay here again if had the opportunity.

There were no fewer than 500 mosquitoes in the room. No mosquito nets. No mosquito coils and no fans to blow the mosquitoes away. When I asked the reception desk they said they would provide but they never did. Was very disappointed with that lie. I was also made to feel like I was being overcharged for their shuttle service to and from town. They were charging 100,000.00 rupiah for a one way ride that was five minutes long. When I said that’s expensive they sai ok for you 50,000.00 but you must lie to the other guests about this. Bad management style with friendly employees made me feel sorry for the people who worked there.

It’s a a facade of a hotel that’s totally non functioning in that the AC’s don’t work, the roofs all leaked, there was no insulation fro Lethe heat, the TV 📺 had no international channels, no Internet, and iALL the wooden bum allow had late gapping spaces that invited all kinds of critters. Spent 3-nights and was moved to 5-rooms in the hoes of getting a comfortable room but to mo avail they were all not maintained for years. No one sole English and no one answer the reception phone and the 20 page menus was reduced to a quarter of a page so I had to go to town which was a joke for my meals. and was moved to 5 rooms. Last but not least I made a serious complaint to both Trip.com to guarantee my full refund which the Finance Manager Mrs. Sylvia promised to do but after I left she changed her mind and didn’t fulfill her promise desire an half hours of “I’m sorry.” The GM was absent thought out the whole ordeal so couldn’t reach him and Trip.com failed me too become I was left with trying to find a room at a much higher price $150/night because it was Chinese New Years! My biggest concern about this booking was the fact that this property like many others were never physically inspected yet they were casually onboarded and I was set up for the Biggest Scam holiday ever after flying all the way from New York and having to Quarantine 10-days in Jakarta then fly to Labuan Bajo! Shame on both the phony hotel for pretending they were one and any even greater SHAME on Trip.com for throwing your customers to the wolves. You are responsible and should have preventing this fiasco from happening in the first place and for not adequately compensating me since I was literally left out in the cold to find a similar priced room with no help from Trip.com or anyone and having to fully absorb the Last minute price hike!
