La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Chicago Gurnee

I didn’t even get to stay in the hotel because after I checked out I had to run somewhere and in the process popped a tire, I called the hotel about 10 times and was put on hold every single time they don’t even let you speak they just say La Quinta Gurnee, and throw you on hold they don’t even ask if they can put you on hold they just put you on hold I was on hold for about 35 minutes after the 10th time of calling and decided to finally give up, I was unable to make it back to the hotel, and stranded in Geneva Wisconsin, I had to pay for another hotel, and after contactingtrips.com they said they don’t offer refunds I have to go through the hotel, the hotel never answers big mess I would never recommend

Great experience for the low price. The gal working the front-desk was also very, very nice. Maybe just one suggestion....time for a new mattress in our room. It was definitely comfortable enough....just was starting to sag. Would definitely stay here again, though.

The first night there they did clean our room but but did not make beds. Second night they Did not clean our room for example make beds, empty garbage or restock supplies -,towels, soap, coffee or toilet paper. Even when we requested additional supplies. The front desk said they would send housekeeping but no one came. The front desk could or would not give supplies. Hot tub did not work 2 of the three days. Twice we had to request towels for the pool the second time never received any. Breakfast changed from the first morning to less items. Our Door open with dead bolt on for we were locked out of our room. Noisy hallways till early morning. Charged my credit card $100 for essentials says they will refund which was not to date.

Staff was the friendliest I’ve had through using *******. Very nice people. The hotel itself seems to be going through renovation right now. Some of the restaurants in the immediate vicinity are closed down but Gurnee Mills is close and offers hot food. The staff was very friendly though and I’d book again. Thanks

It was a beautiful room and they switched to the one we reserved without any trouble. The only bad thing was the lighting in the pool at night, I dropped my glasses and ran over them withy mobility scooter( they broke). Also, the handicap rooms could be a bit larger as we have 2 mobility scooters, but we made do . Olit was a wonderful stay,tho

Cleaning staff can be more polite and friendly asked her to sweep my room or vacuum it for two days straight and never did!!! Straight ignored me

Was told tvs had limited volume because it was quite time at 4 in the afternoon. As if I was a little kid! Phone in the room didn't work either. Would not recommend

Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was ok. You could use more variety as far as protein and less sugar items. I couldn’t eat any of the breakfast except 3 pieces of cantaloupe that was left. Need Greek yogurt or hard boiled eggs . Coffee was delicious. Hot tub was great. But sheets on the side of the left side were dirty with green stuff I took a pic didn’t see it until we we’re leaving . Bed was comfy

My day was pleasant thought the elevator was a little slow, so going up and down to the fourth floor was a process, but all in all the staff was friendly helpful and I would stay again
