ステーション ハウス(Station House Lanark Bed and Breakfast)

Beautiful decor throughout, a wonderfully comfy bed and our room had gorgeous views of country fields. There was an awesome breakfast, freshly cooked full Scottish with ample portions. Nothing too much trouble for genial host, Alan. Like a luxury home away from home. Everywhere spotlessly clean. Would not hesitate to stay again.

A lovely welcome from Alan when we arrived.We were given the large room downstairs, and what a luxurious room it was. Everything was of the highest quality from the furniture to the bedding. The bed was so comfortable that I asked Alan what make the mattress was. The bathroom was was of a very high standard . The towels were thick and fluffy and the soap was a quality make.The Scottish breakfast was excellent with all the ingredients being locally sourced. Alan was full of information and the evening restaurant he recommended could not have been better(The Inn on the Loch) which was a 5 minute drive from Station House. We will definitely be going back again and can honestly say it was one of the best bed and breakfast places we have stayed.

Stayed here for one night while attending a wedding. Received a warm welcome from the hosts who seemed to genuinely want to make our stay a good one. We were shown to our room having chosen a small double since we were only staying for one night. The decor was fresh and tasteful and it had a really comfy bed. The bathroom had a large shower area which had good water and left us feeling refreshed. The host even offered a drop of and pick up to and from the wedding venue and although we appreciated the offer, we declined having already got taxis booked. We slept really well and were greeted warmly the next morning in the breakfast room and had one of the best breakfasts I have had in a long time. All local produce, beautifully cooked. There is a sitting area for guests which looked like a lovely space to hang out but because we were out for the evening we didn’t use it. All in all, definitely great value for money and worth a visit.

We enjoyed our stay with our family, including our granddaughter who is only four months old. Allan welcomed us on arrival and showed us around. The facilities were over and above what we expected, quality furniture, comfortable bed with luxurious bedding, spacious shower, comfortable towels. What a beautiful place, with beautiful surroundings and great hosts :)

Great place to stay, great location and definitely a great host. Alan and Avril are the best hosts I've known. Great breakfast and highly clean. Comfortable beds. Alan has a great sense of humour too. Couldn't fault this place one bit. Friendly and funny.

We stayed here for one night whilst visiting New Lanark on our way to the Highlands. We booked directly with the owners who were lovely to deal with. We found the room clean, comfortable and everything about the experience was welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful, although we don't eat a full cooked breakfast our request for egg on toast was met with perfection. Just a few minutes away from New Lanark, we would recommend this accommodation to anyone needing to stay in the area.

Warm welcome right from initial booking until the moment we drove away. Very friendly hosts with beautiful house, nice place for dinner nearby, huge tasty cooked breakfast in the morning and super comfy bed. Will most definitely go back next time we are in the area. Highly recommended.

This was the perfect end location for our recent vacation. Situated within easy surviving distance of Glasgow and Edinburgh, or beautiful countryside, we were able to customize our activities for each day of our stay. I’d recommend this little gem to anyone (singles, couples, or families) for a great experience and a filling breakfast that will keep you going for a day PACKED full of all the things Scotland has to offer!

A great stay! We stayed in the B&B to attend a show in Lanark, Alan offered to drove us in (which was so nice of him and greatly appreciated), he gave us a little tour and recommended pubs for afterwards. We stayed in 'The Wallace' room, which was small but ideal for the amount of time we were in the room. The room was clean, with modern decor and very comfortable. The breakfast was made to order and delicious. There was a selection of cereals as well as the option of a cooked breakfast. Alan & Avril made sure we left with full bellies! If we are ever in the area, we will definitely be booking to stay again.
