Cute hotel, beautiful garden all around with stunning star jasmine plants. Flooring is all nice and clean, no carpet, so very clean and nice. Quiet and peaceful. Clean bath tub and clean shower curtain. Friendly staff. All good! Strongly recommend!

Our room had a front and a back door. We were able to park right in front of our door. The room was quiet. It's an older property, but it was lush. the pool was nice. the hot tub was tricky to get into because the step was so deep (and hard to get out of), but it was warm and bubbly. there was a FREE HAPPY HOUR with popcorn, nachos, ice cold lemonade and BEER. The breakfast waffle was hot and fluffy. during the week, the kitchen sells burgers, steaks, meals.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Location was convenient to shopping and restaurants. The room was remodeled and very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The only negative was the breakfast. Cereal, toast, waffles and fruit were not what we were hoping for. Also, the breakfast eating space was way too small to accommodate guests.

As many other reviews have noted, the staff is absolutely incredible and accommodating. 5 stars to all of them. There are restaurants literally within walking distance and other points of interest. Room was spotless. Wi-fi wasn't great. The happy hour (2 beer max) is a fun idea! Unfortunately, other reviews mentioned a more robust menu, when I stayed it was just nachos and popcorn, but, hey! That's more than you get at a Ritz or 4 Seasons, so... The neighborhood isn't the best, so it's prudent to secure your stuff (lock your vehicle, take your keys and valuables etc), but I didn't have any issues. It's a 2 story motel (not a hotel or resort) so if you're used to high end amenities this probably wouldn't suit you. I was there for one night for business and it was fine for that purpose. If you're in Laredo for an extended period you might want to shop around. The bed was a bit firm for my tastes, but that's a personal preference. The sheets and pillow cases were not very soft or plush, but they weren't like cardboard either. They offer a free breakfast from 8-10 but i didn't partake in that so I can't offer an opinion. Overall, it was a nice stay. Clean, reasonably comfortable and large room with a garden view with less noise than expected for a motel. I did sleep in the back bed away from the window and door. My rate was $90. For that price, it was well worth it!

Rooms were not ready, even though we areived after checkin. When we told front desk we would wait and asked for a time when orginal room would be, they said it was not avaolable at all. We were "upgraded" to rooms in second floor, we specifically choose 1st floor because we needed it but this was our only option. Restroom was dirty, shower was not clean there was hair and dirty wash cloth from previous vacancy. But they did leave a 409 cleaning bottle in the restrooms so that was thoughtful! Breakfast was not at all good! Cereal and toast, coffee was horrible. There are two employees assigned to make waffles?? Should spend reaources for better breakfast options!

This property is a very popular destination for business and family travel. Great for kids!

This property is OK. There is a lot of deferred maintenance to be done but they are also starting what looks like a major renovation. Many semi's offloading furniture. That was inconvenient but not terrible. The staff was neither great nor terrible - typical customer service these days. Housekeeping staff was very attentive and pleasant. Breakfast was disappointing. If you didn't want a waffle, your choices were extremely limited. Coffee was good. In room amenities were lacking but this is a lower priced property. For the price, it was fine. My biggest complaint was that I booked through ******* and chose "Pay at the Property". I wanted to pay cash. The young man at check in never asked for a card or gave me a choice. I had just driven 12 hours through Mexico so I was not the sharpest crayon in the box at that point. He ended up just charging through ******* which went onto a card I had not intended to use. It worked out but wasn't how it should have gone. I got a blank stare from the girl at the front desk when I checked out and told her about it. Oh well.

Little outdated and not the cleanest but I love the layout and the middle garden. Location is very convenient. So far it’s been safe and we haven’t had any inconveniences.

I've been staying at this hotel for years and to my surprise on this trip there were noticeable upgrades to the rooms! new AC units, new locks, new check in computers nice upgrades!

It was a nice surprise to arrive for social hour and get free beer and snacks! Everyone was very kind.

The view of the garden would have been much more interesting and beautiful had it not been very overgrown! The accommodation was very good! Will be back!!

Old room, dirty bedding. Disinterested staff, poor breakfast. Other than the bed bring comfortable, I have nothing positive to say about my stsy here.

Comfortable clean rooms. Air conditioner worked great! Nice outside area. Enjoyed the complimentary beers and nachos. Nice touch! We would most definitely stay here again when in the area!

Room needs updating. The water in shower was hard to control the temperature. Not enough towels. Area was convenient. Sitting area outside not clean.
