Reading the AI generated blurb about this place on TripAdvisor got us really excited about staying here. Unfortunately, the reality was considerably different. I hate to be negative because the homeowner who welcomed us was a real nice guy, but... the home is really in need of some TLC. It seems to be falling apart. Our room was located on the second story and we had to lug our bags up a rickety, steep stairwell to get there. Definitely not for the mobility challenged. Our room didn't have its own bathroom but the owner said that we would have exclusive access to one down the hall except the next morning we awoke to find it occupied. Breakfast was supposed to be buffet, but it turned out to be help yourself to a few store bought pastries from Walmart. It was cheaper than almost any other accommodations in the area, but we got (barely) what we paid for.
