The service it's really bad their customers sits really bad too so sad.coz when it's really rain while I'm in a hotel I asking for umbrella and they never reply in a good attitude it's really bad please no more Tanoa Hotel thanks

The facility was clean and modern, but the shower didn't drain fully leaving a slippery puddle away from the drain hole. Housekeeping wasn't consistent. On separate occasions the mirror was left wet, the bins unemptied, the towel unchanged and the bed not made up properly. The programmable safe didn't open once locked, and the key card had to be reprogrammed to give access to the room. Once, while resting in my room in the early afternoon, someone tried to enter my room but the latch stopped them. I quickly checked outside, thinking it might have been housekeeping, but no one was there except someone - a burly obese island man in singlet, shorts and jandals - walking quickly around the corner. I believe it was another guest who'd somehow gained access to electronic access cards, and who was raiding other guest's rooms. It was after that incident that my key card failed to work, and I had to visit reception to get it reprogrammed. The staff were generally courteous and kind, but really only going through the motions to fulfil their role. No one stood out as loving the work they do. The egg station couldn't make poached egg. That had to come from the kitchen, and they had to boil the water first and it was an inordinately long wait. In a previous visit to Samoa, at a hotel in Savai'i, the egg station had a pan with simmering water for poached eggs, and they delivered poached eggs as quickly as any other style of egg. I visited other hotels for events around Apia on this visit. I'm now open to staying at other hotels after this visit.

Everything was great. Housekeeping needs alot of work on efficiency, time management and thorough cleaning.

The peoples were amazed very friendly so inviting and welcoming the quests, very respectful hotels the rooms everything we wanted its all there .very relaxing . Our only disappointed is the food .dont get me wrong the continental breakfast is the bomb its the restaurant food, needed a new chefs.

After been to Tanoa at Fiji and i realised what a waste of money to Samoa Tanoa Tusitala. Tanoa in Fiji was amazing, staff greeting us with a beautiful smile, talking us through everything. Took our luggages and show us our room! Even though we stay there for only 16hours cause we have to stayover waiting for our next flight back to Australia. Our next Holiday will definitely to FIJI. AMAZING SERVICE FIJI, as for Tanoa Tusitala Hotel were never coming back to you guys, service bad, breakfast not really good, could've been better! I order scramble egg and waiting for it that me and husband and the kids left our table and no one even come and apologies for not making it. This will be our first and last for Tanoa Tusitala Hotel Very Disappointing!!!

It was ok… nothing to write about. The room was above good - clean. Kid friendly Improvements: breakfast, loud music most of the time and staff sitting on the floor behind a kitchen service section.

We were very satisfied with the service we received from the staff. Our room was clean and the housekeepers kept it that way. We always had hot water and the A/C was a relief from the humidity. Breakfast was good. The only critique we have was there could have been improvement to the buffet for the Fiafia Show. Besides that, totally satisfied with the excellent hospitality we received. We will book here again when we return to Samoa.

We enjoyed how close to town the hotel was and were able to walk everywhere close by. The breakfast was really nice and the pool is big with plenty of seating and some covered areas. The room was spacious and spotless.

I've stayed at Tanoa a few times, as well as other hotels in Upolu and Savaii, and can honestly say this hotel is one of, if not, the best in the country. THE ROOMS - are huge which is rare, the beds are super comfy, the air con doesnt switch off when you open the sliding door (like at Taumeasina - and yes I get the whole eco-friendly thing but when you're dying from the heat and you're sharing a room with a vaper, it gets really annoying having to constantly turn it back on), the family rooms which we've stayed in a few times have a private patio/balcony, and the rooms are serviced daily. Buffet breakfast is usually included in the room rate. STAFF - pretty much the only critique I have about this place is that some of the front reception staff weren't too friendly or approachable which was a shame. This was easily overlooked, however, as the wait staff at the bar and at breakfast buffet, as well as the porters, cleaners and Gardners always greeted us with a "hello", "malo", "good morning" or a smile when we passed them through the walkways or around the property. They don't expect a tip but are always so grateful when they're given one. Choose Tanoa! You won't regret it
