Château d'Escurat

What a fabulous place. We arrived to a warm welcome and met the little adorable dogs. (They are contained for anyone afraid, we asked to meet them). The chateau is stunning. Beautifully maintained and clean as a whistle. The views are to die for and the bed is huge and incredibly comfortable. Adam and David are fabulous. Full of recommendations for the local area which was invaluable as we visited just out of season. This is a must stay and would also make the most beautiful wedding venue. So much space to spread out. I can't recommend the place enough. Come and see for yourself and some of the best hospitality. Thanks Adam and David for a wonderful stay. Ooh La La! What a find. The owners are so welcoming. The chateau has been restored very tastefully. The bed we slept in was so comfortable. The location is ideal for a long drive from UK. Peaceful clean location far from the madding crowd. Will not disappoint.

We stayed at the Château d’Escurat in late October and had a very relaxing visit. The Chateau is situated about 8 hours drive south of the Channel Tunnel. The Chateau is the owners home which they opened as accommodation in July 2021. The owners were very welcoming and helped with our luggage. The room we stayed in was nicely decorated with interesting art. The bed was comfortable and shower was great. The continental breakfast and coffee are ideal and set you up for the day. We walked in the grounds which are nice for a stroll and assessable to everyone. A chance to forget the outside world. I should say I have no association with the Château or it's owners. It is simply hard to criticize the place. Whilst not the cheapest accommodation in the area, the rate is value for money.
