This has been one of our favourite Paradors to stay in and we would like to return to spend a little longer. We only spent one night here and did not eat in the Parador as we do find the food in all Paradors quite expensive in comparison to local restaurants. The staff were excellent and our room was super. Obviously, coming from Ireland, I would like tea and coffee making facilities in the room :)

We used this as a stop over as we motorcycled across Spain and Portugal. Very clean, and welcoming with an ample breakfast option. The hotel sits at the top of the town with a spacious market square for parking. It was still quite early in the season so not much was open but we found a couple of local bars. Restaurant food was decent and the surroundings excellent.

This Parador situated at the top end of Lerma with magnificent views, was an ideal stop over on our trek across to S.E.France. The room had everything we needed including a kettle for us manic English tea drinkers and what must have been one of the best views from the balcony. The “ cloister area” if that is the right description, offered plenty of seating with staff at hand to take orders for drinks etc. The food served for both breakfast and dinner was very good but the waiting staff for the latter did not engage in a friendly way which was a little disappointing.There is ample free parking which was a plus while a wander around the streets close by, gave a feel of how the old part of Lerma use to be. A pleasant one night stay and one we would be happy to do again if ever in the area.

We would definitely return to this Parador in the magnificent Ducal Palace. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the food in the restaurant was delicious.

We are regular guests at Lerma and it never disappoints. The building is fantastic and the service and the food excellent. It makes a wonderful stopover and we will be back soon.

Very grand Parador. Excellent room with extensive views across countryside. Splendid bathroom. Excellent breakfast, but mediocre dinner. However, there is a coffee shop with extensive renge of dishes - we had lunch here and it was excellent.
