ザ カルバート ホテル(The Calvert Hotel)

Interesting old building, an easy walk to town. Check in was easy, professional, and the guy offered to help carry luggage one flight up the stairs ( no elevator ). So far, so good. Mid afternoon, and the TV from downstairs was loud. Came back at 9pm, and the TV in the next door room was deafening. Asked front desk if they could ask them to turn it down. They asked and the response was “ I don’t think it’s too loud, so no” . Someone who has no concept of communal living and respect obviously. Myya at the front desk was really good. Even though the hotel was full, there was a suite which was just finished being refurbished which she moved us into. Excellent customer service. Was woken up at 2am by the guy beneath us, snoring….😩. Evidently, the walls, and ceilings are paper thin, so sleeping well, undisturbed, is a pretty poor gamble.. A shame…

It is comfortable, clean, and overall, a very nice hotel. Comfy sheets and bed. Awesome breakfast; one of the best continental breakfasts I've had at a hotel. Courteous staff. Will stay again!

We heard people stomping around constantly above us. They never stopped. We had windows that opened to a banquet room as well and could hear people yelling a lot. We were in room 109. Maybe just book the top floor. Breakfast had good options and the beds were comfortable.

Great place to stay. Room was clean and spacious. Only complaint was not hot water

Our room was very clean and cozy! The staff is cordial and so accommodating. Breakfast was great. Perfect size room for our needs. We will be returning!!

This Historic property has maintained the quaint features of the era without sacrificing comfort. The bed was comfortable and the linens were luxurious. The breakfast was fantastic. Charming community! We hope to visit again.

The Premium Room has a connected enclosed seating area with 3 big windows that over look the mountains. That's where I spent most of the time during the day. The bathroom felt elegant with the black and white tiles with a big jacuzzi tub (bigger than my regular tub at home). The bed was comfortable as well. It was quiet and relaxing. Exactly what I was looking for in an overnight stay.

Beautiful location. Building was extremely clean. Staff was friendly. Rooms are remodeled turn of the century design. Breakfast was very good. A wonderful place to stay.

Great remodeled property close to downtown. Great continental breakfast and clean rooms.
