シスルダウン アット セガー ハウス(Thistledown at Seger House)

Gorgeous house, stayed in room 202 so I could take long baths in the beautiful bathroom. Absolutely the peaceful break I needed. I really enjoyed the town, we walked to Rosalie’s Jioio’s Little Italy for dinner and Abigails Coffee for breakfast and walked through the shops. Sweet little town of friendly people and this boutique hotel was the cream on top.

The facility overall was wonderful. The design and finish of the facility, common spaces and bedrooms was warm, well taken care of and comfortable. We really appreciated the pet friendly a**osphere and the location in the heart of Ligonier was super convenient.

I am a little baffled by the negative reviews. We found contacting the manager to be easy and pleasant. The room, 201, was lovely and perfect for our brief stay. Everything was clean and coffee/tea/water was easy enough although I felt like other guests’ mom adding water to keurig and throwing away used pods - which is NO fault of Thistledown. Perfect location for event at The Barn, easy to walk or drive to Kitchen on Main for heavenly breakfast. We have absolutely nothing negative about our stay and would not hesitate to return. Thank you!

The property was lovely and well kept. However, there is no staff on the property so any problems have to be called in to one of the managers. Also, the room description isn't very clear about the fact that Rm 301 has a private bath but it's out in the hall. So trips to the bathroom in the middle of the night involve needing to be able to get hold of your key and stepping into the VERY BRIGHTLY lit hallway. The bath itself is very nice with a handicap accessible shower. The heat is one of those Euro-style units on the wall. Not easy to figure out how to use it if you are not familiar with the technology.

This lodging was not as advertised. On the website it said there was breakfast and lunch available. No breakfast or lunch or dinner in this “boutique hotel” We were booked for 2 nights. Room was not cleaned after first night nor were we even offered clean towels! No manager on site. My wife left her key in the room. Could not even get back into the building at 11:30 am. Called the number on the door and it went to Voicemail. Finally returned call at 12:15pm. Could not get out of parking lot to drive anywhere Large truck blocking the exit and no one around to ask to move it! One star for bathroom One star for bed Won’t be returning!

Lovely decor..very clean and comfortable..older building redone into boutique hotel..our room on 3rd fllor had our private bathroom across hall different for us but just fine.

/ It was a wonderful old building and well furnished. Great beds. There were no directions in the room for TV/wifi. No hooks, hangers as there is no closet. Grab bars please. Need little table in bath area for cosmedics, etc. Full length mirror would be great.

Absolutely fabulous. Surpassed expectations in attention to detail, cleanliness, tasting room, and overall delightful stay. Highly recommend this getaway location.

Absolutely wonderful visit. Great rooms, free parking and nice amenities. I'll definitely be staying here again.
