It took me some time to find a place to stay for my family of 14 and I am glad that I chose fanchenli where we get to experience different room types and each cater for each family. My top fav rooms are Mijing for those who doesn't want to climb stairs or Qijing for nice and big bathtub.
Location is great as it is not too far away from Lijiang old town and most importantly, you don't need to lug your luggages on the uneven grounds. Accessible via car.
Facilities are well maintained and owner chose to use the best for the customers. The moment you enter the room, it has a very nice scent and also it feels very cosy. Service is top notched as they will assist almost immediately and will share with us good tips or recommendation to go for food and whatever u need.
There are also alot of restaurants along the street to this air bnb.
All in all, we simply love the accommodation and will definitely recommend to others
We decided to stay another two nights at this hotel since it is the best value for money in Lijiang even if it is outside the old town. The service is really great. Yesterday evening we came home and we’re invited to join to have some grapes and grilled sweet potatoes and tea. Thanks.
The breakfast ist simple but what Chinese like for breakfast. It is one of very few guesthouses that offers breakfast.
The rooms are according the price and your needs.. The picture taken is one of the best rooms.
The view from to third floor is nice.
Thanks for making our stay so great.
I stayed at Mado Cloud House for 3 nights, and it was a wonderful experience. I was picked up at railways station for free arranged by them which is very convenient. I booked the Double Occupancy (Double Bed) room, and it looked exactly like the photos.
The hotel owner speaks English fluently and guided us with great tips throughout our stay. They also work with agents who can arrange packages to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, which was very convenient.
The location is decent, situated on a hill. While the walk from Lijiang Old Town might be challenging for the elderly or less fit, you can easily book a DiDi for under 10 yuan, so it’s not a big issue.
One charming detail is their friendly dog, which doesn’t attack or bite. The staff were very considerate of our needs as Muslims and always restrained the dog whenever we were near the front desk.
What impressed me most was their excellent service even after I left. When I accidentally left some personal belongings, they went the extra mile to send them via SF Express to Shangri-La which only took one day to arrive. I am so thankful for their effort and kindness.
Kudos to the owner and staff for their outstanding service! Highly recommended.
